A three-story 1981 townhouse built to emulate a 19th century Savannah row house, was extensively remodeled to create a serene sanctuary filled with sumptuous details, bright interior spaces, and a meditative outdoor retreat. Photography by Bailey Davidson Photography

The home's exterior was designed to emulate a traditional rambling colonial farmhouse, integrated with the land to look like it has always been there. The open floor plan gives a contemporary feel to the interior while boasting myriad traditional details. Seen in "Hot Property", Berkshire Living, November 2007.

When our client wanted the design of their master bath to honor their Japanese heritage and emulate a Japanese bathing experience, they turned to us. They had very specific needs and ideas they needed help with — including blending Japanese design elements with their traditional Northwest-style home. The shining jewel of the project? An Ofuro soaking tub where the homeowners could relax, contemplate and meditate.

This high-rise condominium at The Mayfair longed for the renewal conceptualized in its 3 bathrooms. Each was a complete renovation, adding relevant aesthetic updates and much-needed functionality and storage. We capitalized on the immense amount of natural light in the primary bath and we amplified it throughout the space by opening up walls to the shower, lining the vanity with full-sized, built-in vanity mirrors, and distributing electrified lighting throughout. Custom cabinetry was designed to capture every inch of usable perimeter space and incorporate the elevated tub platform. The guest bath emulates a classic, luxury hotel feel infused with color, a great tile pattern on the focal shower wall, a furniture-style vanity, and a fun floor design. The powder bath is dark and moody with textural wallpaper and an espresso-colored porcelain floor tile emulating marble. All of the appointments throughout exude the luxury look and feel the client desired, are maintenance friendly and will stand the test of time.

Stunning marble porcelain tile and rusting freestanding vanities paired with stainless steel are the perfect combination for a contemporary farmhouse meets coastal design. This bathroom emulates a spa like atmosphere with its natural light, fresh whites, wood tones and accents of greenery.

Per Beverly Hills architectural guidelines, the front facade and yard had to emulate a classic French country home. We closely developed a scheme which also met our client’s expectations. From the mansard slate covered roof to the custom mahogany front door, from the gracious guardrails to the light fixtures made in New Orleans, no detail was overlooked. We have also participated in the design of the backyard and of the rooftop deck.

Surrounded by coastal upland forest, this residence was designed to co-exist with its surroundings. The house is situated on the southernmost end of the property with the majority of the property consisting of contiguous restored coastal woodland.
The restored woodland beyond is an extension of the surrounding native vegetation. These layers of native plants and sizes emulate the native community of plants allowing for natural succession and long-term stability with minimal management.

The exterior features true thin stone veneer, fiber cement lap siding, Azek trim and simulated divided light windows. Notice the 2nd floor bedroom windows on the end of the house are casement windows (for egress purposes) configured to emulate the style of the double hung windows elsewhere. (exterior hardscape is not yet completed)

Continuing into the en-suite bathroom, the flooring and accent pebble details emulate the reds and pinks of the bedroom, even the framed art intensifies the effeminate composition.
