Retractable Screens, also known as Roll-up Screens and Vertical Rolling Screens are completely customized to meet the needs of the space. Easy to see through and completely retractable, exterior Retractable Screens create a cool, comfortable, insect-free environment without sacrificing your view. Designed to provide superior solar protection, they mitigate UV damage, optimize comfort and provide daytime privacy even in windy settings. Extra sun control can be achieved by increasing thread counts and weave density. Retractable Solar Shades provide energy-efficient sun shading, shelter against bugs and mosquitoes, climate control and rain/wind reduction while allowing outward visibility. Depending on screen fabric selection, our solar shade fabric selections are capable of blocking up to 95% of ultra-violet (UV) rays–saving up to 50% of the energy used to heat and cool homes. Previously this bathroom had a large corner tub that was never used with a gawdy glass block window above it. We removed tub and glass block to allow for a nicely sized shower, and smaller window.

Once we removed one wall and widened the space, we were able to increase the size of the island by 75%! They wanted the island to be the focal point of the kitchen, so they chose a stand-out color. (A great way to zhuzch up the kitchen without spending any extra money!) The client chose the enduringly popular quartz to replace the old countertops. Pitt Street Bathroom Renovation Located in a historic home that has been thoughtfully converted into multiple apartments, this 600-square-foot residence presented a unique design challenge: creating a luxurious, highly functional bathroom within a limited footprint. We completely reimagined the existing space, removing the outdated finishes and transforming it into a timeless retreat. Classic polished chrome fixtures, marble throughout, and a custom glass shower enclosure create an elegant, enduring aesthetic. To maximize functionality, we also incorporated space for a laundry area where none previously existed—an essential upgrade without compromising the room's design. Working closely with Kohler, we carefully selected finishes that complement the home's historic character while providing modern performance. The result is a sophisticated bathroom that feels both spacious and refined, proving that exceptional design isn't limited by square footage.
