For over 32 years, we've been providing expert solutions for storm protection, wind damage mitigation, water leakage, controlling solar glare and window security as well as for more decorative and lifestyle elements such as retractable solar shades or exterior plantation shutters. Shade and Shutter Systems is a full service provider for Rolling Shutters, Security Shutters, Hurricane Shutters, Retractable Screens and Retractable Awnings. We service all of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Long Island, NY. Our showroom is located in Hyannis, MA, also serving all of Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard.

I have been a customer of Shade & Shutter for 24 years but now am extremely dissatisfied with them. My top of the line, heavy duty Croci Rolling Shutter was installed by Shade & Shutter just 1.5 years ago and already the aluminum box has corroded and the paint is peeling off. Croci claims to have a 5 year paint warranty to be serviced by the installer but Shade & Shutter refuses to honor the warranty or provide any remedy. This expensive ($5,100) rollshutter is meant to be durable and capable of withstanding the harshest of coastal conditions but has failed in very short time. I do NOT recommend either Shade & Shutter Systems or Croci Rolling Shutters.

Shade and Shutter removed old vertical blinds and installed new vertical blinds and hardware on two 12 ft. sliding doors and four 10 ft. to 13 ft. tall windows. These workmen did a very professional job, without a mess to clean up. The four windows required drilling into concrete.

I called Shade and Shutter Systems about installing hurricane shutters for my 3rd story office windows. They were courteous, with preliminary estimates, then a site visit and more exact estimate, and then prompt email follow-ups with pictures attached when necessary. Their contractor who installed the units was fast, friendly, expert and thoroughly cleaned up when he and his assistant were finished. Not cheap, but highly recommend.

I did a lot of online research, received estimates from two different companies, and Shade & Shutter offered what I deemed the best, most cost effective product. The job, mandated by my insurance company, was completed prfessionally, and Mark and Amanda were absolute pleasures to deal with.
