The plan was to keep the existing appliances and then due to the age of the existing appliance which were failing in the old kitchen, we upgraded with a wolf flush induction cooktop, a cove dishwasher that we paneled and subzero columns. The finishing touch was the elegant chandelier and island in quartzite. The result is a kitchen that is loved by the family and by us! . . .

We had the awesome opportunity to complete this 8ft Western Red Cedar board-on-board privacy fence that included metal gate frames with industrial hinges and 2x6 single stage trim cap. We used exterior rated GRK screws for 100% of the installation, not a single nail on the entire project. The project also included demolition and removal of a failed retaining wall followed by the form up and pouring of a new 24” tall concrete retaining wall. Inspiration for a cottage family room remodel in Austin

At the end of 2012, Danberry came across what was then a rundown home in the Casco Point neighborhood of Orono, in desperate need of some design help. A failed attempt by the previous owner to remodel it as an investment had left it abandoned for years. But when the Danberry’s got a glimpse of this diamond in the rough, they knew it had potential. The project included a completely remodeled kitchen, bathroom, basement and living room.

The new homeowners at this property wanted to properly retain this backyard hillside. Converting an old failing small boulder wall and tree covered hillside into something that is turning into a work of art. We are helping plant and finish this project Spring 2021! A combination of a three large stone walls with supporting boulder walls and outcropping have tammed this hillside. Updated ‘safe’ steps have been installed to connect the new paver patio for back yard viewing and relaxing. The Mr. homeowner is a very talented Dahalia gardener and now has the new framework to allow his talent shine even more! I look forward to helping finish this project and visiting the space over the years too watch the space mature.

With a narrow driveway and leaning concrete retaining walls, parking was a major challenge at this 1938 brick Tudor on Spokane's South Hill. Crumbling concrete stairs added another layer of difficulty, and after a particularly rough winter, the homeowners were ready for a change. The failing concrete walls were replaced with stacked boulders, which created space for a new, wider driveway. Natural stone steps offer access to the backyard, while the new front stairs and sidewalk provide a safe route to the front door. The original iron railings were preserved and modified to be reused with the new stairs.

Inspiration for a contemporary bathroom remodel in San Francisco

After the kitchen renovation, our client was inspired to finish off this light filled sunroom/breakfast area to match the modern touches in the rest of the home. We added decorative sheer panels to frame the windows without blocking any light. A beautiful crystal chandelier and the durable indoor/outdoor area rug help to add the finishing touches to this furnished room. Photos by Jenn Verrier Photography

Exterior grade art element is permanently installed into backyard niche. Replacing a failing ceramic installation, the piece adds a crisp graphic element to this backyard design. Playing on the concept of "home as nest," the piece offers the homeowner a new view in the niche while making a cohesive material connection with the surrounding brick.

This mud room is either entered via the mud room entry from the garage or through the glass exterior door. A large cabinetry coat closet flanks an expansive bench seat with drawer storage below for shoes. Floating shelves provide ample storage for small gardening items, hats and gloves. The bench seat upholstery adds warmth, comfort and a splash of color to the space. Stacked laundry behind retractable doors and a large folding counter completes the picture!

This Natick home was in need of a thorough exterior painting from top to bottom. First, the house was scrubbed by hand with bleach and Jomax. All of the siding, trim, casings, shutters and doors were scraped clean of any failing paint, primed and applied two finish coats. The siding received Sherman Williams Cityscape, while the shutters a Tricorn Black. The front porch was prepped and a solid stain was applied, while the ceiling was repaired of water damage and given two finish coats. Stunning results!

The client approached us to come up with a solution to their failing concrete pad and walkway. After talking with them, we discovered that they did not like their front yard at all. We created a landscape design with them that included a new paver driveway, walkway, retaining wall, new plantings and portico. All of these elements were designed with the architecture of the home in mind. Products used include Belgard Hardscapes London Cobble and Celtik Wall. Front view of steps, retaining wall and portico.
