We were so delighted to be able to bring to life our fresh take and new renovation on a picturesque bathroom. A scene of symmetry, quite pleasing to the eye, the counter and sink area was cultivated to be a clean space, with hidden storage on the side of each elongated mirror, and a center section with seating for getting ready each day. It is highlighted by the shiny silver elements of the hardware and sink fixtures that enhance the sleek lines and look of this vanity area. Lit by a thin elegant sconce and decorated in a pathway of stunning tile mosaic this is the focal point of the master bathroom. Following the tile paths further into the bathroom brings one to the large glass shower, with its own intricate tile detailing within leading up the walls to the waterfall feature. The roof on this beautiful home was replaced with IKO Cambridge Impact Resistant Shingles--Class 4 - Dual Grey. They have a Class 4 Impact Resistance Rating² which IKO is pleased to present for the sole purpose of enabling homeowners to obtain a discount on their home insurance premiums in the Calgary area. Cambridge IR shingles feature a resilient fiberglass mat reinforced with IKO modified asphalt. It’s formulated to be extremely pliable, which contributes to its impact-resistant properties.

Transitional style kitchen has a built-in coffee bar with a hinged door that slides open & close for easy access. Open shelves on the opposite wall are made of Carrera marble as well as the back splash and perimeter counter tops. These features contribute to the airy feel & unified, elegant design. The black and gold La Cornue range accompanied by the unique hood help bring a European atmosphere to this Evanston kitchen. Dawn Cromer photographer and homeowner. This modern farmhouse was custom built by Peak Builders, LLC, in central Virginia and completed 2015. Two separate architects contributed to the project, Andres F. Martinez founder of ARKE design-build, LLC, and Heath Wills founder of Heath Wills Home Designs, llc. Each worked closely with the homeowners, marrying their aim to fashion the home inside and out to have a farmhouse heart yet craftsman flare. The main house exterior features a mixture of board-and-batten and lap hardie siding painted Benjamin Moore White Dove (OC-17), while the garage is solely board-and-batten painted Benjamin Moore Caliente (AF-290).

This cheery laundry room addition became a focal point & sunny spot to do household chores. Its yellow walls, warm wood cabinets, navy herringbone backsplash, and clean white countertops all contribute to its charming atmosphere. The cabinets feature adjustable shelving for storing laundry baskets, a utility sink, a countertop over the washer and dryer for folding, and a rod for hang-drying delicate items.

Modern homes are all about open flow, fewer walls expand the space contributing to a great atmosphere for the day to day living. A consistent color palette emphasizes the accent features in each room and creates an effortlessness to the overall design.
