Bedroom - guest bedroom idea in Calgary with white walls

This modern, colorful master bedroom creates comfort yet a pop of spunk to an otherwise ordinary room. The bright magenta, paired with black was the unique color scheme chosen for this space. A white leather bed with a custom fabric bed bench sits in the middle of this gorgeous space. A custom lacquered art piece was created with the colors of this room and a rock cross was formed atop of the piece.

This stately townhouse underwent a full renovation from both the DHD Architecture and Interiors team to provide a young family with rooms to grow into. Spaces were updated with contemporary furnishings and refined architectural details, while still honoring the classic, formal elements of the historic home. The expansive outdoor space is framed by the dining area’s floor to ceiling windows and bold window treatment. DHD’s interiors team aimed to transform the room into an inviting and livable space for the family, designing a custom kitchen banquette and using playfully bright, warm color tones. While the master bedroom keeps to a soft, muted palette incorporating deep shades of purples, the children’s rooms are extravagantly fun, complete with fuchsia bedding and oversized Lucite table lamps.

The 10,000 sq. ft. Bellagio Residence was a 1939 Georgian Revival overlooking the manicured links of the Bel Air Country Club that was in need of a modern touch. Stripped down to the studs, Wearstler worked to create an additional 3,000 sq. ft. of living space, pushed up the ceiling heights, broadened windows and doors to allow more light and completely carved out a new master suite upstairs. Mixing the personalities of the clients, one slightly more conservative and focused on comfort, the other a little feistier that wanted something unique, Wearstler took a daredevil approach and created a high-chroma style that has become her new signature approach. Italian antiques, custom rugs inspired by silk scarves, hand-painted wallcoverings, bright hits of color like a tiger print Fuchsia velvet sofa against a plum colored pyramid studded wall and endless amounts of onyx and marble slab walls and floors make for an unapologetically lavish and seductive home.

Glamour is the name of the game for this gorgeous flat in the 8th arrondissement in Paris.
For Victoria's first international project, she went all out with this client's favorite jewel tones, lush materials, and statement light fixtures. The wall between the kitchen and dining/living room was removed to create an American-inspired “open concept”, the trim was painted black to add contrast to the previously all-white walls, and the wood floors were re-stained to tone down the yellowed oak. Throughout the home, bold colors took center stage with a deep turquoise office/guest quarters and rich sapphire with silver enchant the master bedroom for a luxurious look. In the kitchen, the client had the great idea of adding a bench at the end of the new waterfall countertop, which led to the creation of a mini Parisian-inspired bistro vignette. In the main living space of the home, the only must-have was two custom velvet fuchsia sofas in the living room, so from fun prints in turquoises and purples were mixed for a rich, layered atmosphere.
Amazingly, almost everything was sourced from the U.S. and shipped over to Paris. The Parisian project came to an end with a fun-filled trip to Paris where fabulous accessories to personalize the overall design were sourced and hand selected.

A busy working mother’s dark and dismal home office is transformed into a lively and inviting sanctuary.
Dated, stained wood shelves are painted a flirtatious pale pink.
The ceiling is emboldened with unexpected, outsized floral blossom wallpaper in provocative shades of fuchsia and violet.
Oak floors are refinished and topped with an acid washed cow hide rug.
Walls are swathed in multiple layers of pastel paint, mimicking grass cloth to add texture and interest.
Delicate brass sconces flank a dimensional marble sculpture behind an elegant desk featuring fluted sides and tapered legs that further nod to femininity.
The formidable, artisanal chandelier with multiple swirled glass orbs, allows light to gracefully shimmer across the space’s newfound sensual appeal.
