This family wanted a contemporary structure that blended natural elements with with grays and blues. This is a unique structure that turned out beautifully. We went with powder coated 6x6 steel posts hiding all of the base and top plates creating a seamless transition between the structure and travertine flooring. Due to limitations on spacing we added a built-in granite table with matching powder coated steel frame. This created a unique look and practical application for dining seating. By adding a knee wall with cedar slats it created an intimate nook while keeping everything open. The modern fireplace and split style kitchen created a great use of space without making if feel crowded. On the main level of Hearth and Home is a full luxury master suite complete with all the bells and whistles. Access the suite from a quiet hallway vestibule, and you’ll be greeted with plush carpeting, sophisticated textures, and a serene color palette. A large custom designed walk-in closet features adjustable built ins for maximum storage, and details like chevron drawer faces and lit trifold mirrors add a touch of glamour. Getting ready for the day is made easier with a personal coffee and tea nook built for a Keurig machine, so you can get a caffeine fix before leaving the master suite. In the master bathroom, a breathtaking patterned floor tile repeats in the shower niche, complemented by a full-wall vanity with built-in storage. The adjoining tub room showcases a freestanding tub nestled beneath an elegant chandelier.

This bungalow was purchased by TV Personality Todd Talbot and his wife Rebecca. They had dreams of making the home their own with an updated kitchen. The couple enlarged the window over the sink to give an extra large view of the backyard. Our team came in and custom fit an inset face frame kitchen from our top end Boulevard Series in a custom colour to suit their style and the over all feel of the home.
