Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional 3/4 white tile and porcelain tile porcelain tile alcove bathtub remodel in Toronto with shaker cabinets, white cabinets, a two-piece toilet, blue walls, an undermount sink and quartz countertops

This narrow galley style primary bathroom was opened up by eliminating a wall between the toilet and vanity zones, enlarging the vanity counter space, and expanding the shower into dead space between the existing shower and the exterior wall. Now the space is the relaxing haven they'd hoped for for years. The warm, modern palette features soft green cabinetry, sage green ceramic tile with a high variation glaze and a fun accent tile with gold and silver tones in the shower niche that ties together the brass and brushed nickel fixtures and accessories, and a herringbone wood-look tile flooring that anchors the space with warmth. Wood accents are repeated in the softly curved mirror frame, the unique ash wood grab bars, and the bench in the shower. Quartz counters and shower elements are easy to mantain and provide a neutral break in the palette. The sliding shower door system allows for easy access without a door swing bumping into the toilet seat. The closet across from the vanity was updated with a pocket door, eliminating the previous space stealing small swinging doors. Storage features include a pull out hamper for quick sorting of dirty laundry and a tall cabinet on the counter that provides storage at an easy to grab height.

This shower was designed for safety - yet luxury. The decorative grab bars can be used for towels or for someone to steady themselves. The recessed niche was lowered for Mom to be able to reach from a seated position.

If you have a deep vintage tub with a cottage style decorative decorative grab bars are a must! This project used the Moen Kingsley line. The eclectic lighting added a fun touch and some personality as well.

This client requested to design with aging in place details Note walk-in curbless shower,, shower benches to sit and place toiletries. Hand held showers in two locations, one at bench and standing shower options. Grab bars are placed vertically to grab onto in shower. Blue Marble shower accentuates the vanity counter top marble. Under-mount sinks allow for easy counter top cleanup. Glass block incorporated rather than clear glass. AS aging occurs clear glass is hard to detect. Also water spray is not as noticeable. Travertine walls and floors.

Eclectic bedroom photo in Nashville

By removing the wall between the toilet shower room and the vanity, space was made for a tall storage cabinet and a pocket door to close off the vanity from the bedroom. Needing to work within the original foot print of the room, a zero threshold shower, grab bars, hand-held shower head on a slide bar, shower seat and electrical plug by the toilet ensure that these homeowners can safely age in place. The shower surround is book matched the full dimension of the shower. A new operative window was incorporated into the remodel to provide natural light to a room that was previously windowless. Renovisions received a request from these homeowners to remodel their existing master bath with the design goal: a spa-like environment featuring a large curb-less shower with multiple showerheads and a linear drain. Accessibility features include a hand-held showerhead mounted on a sliding bar with separate volume controls, a large bench seat in Blue Pearl granite and a decorative safety bar in a chrome finish. Multiple showerheads accommodated our clients ranging heights and requests for options including a more rigorous spray of water to a soft flow from a ceiling mounted rain showerhead. The various sprays provide a full luxury shower experience. The curb-less Schluter shower system incorporates a fully waterproof and vapor tight environment to ensure a beautiful, durable and functional tiled shower. In this particular shower, Renovisions furnished and installed an elegant low-profile linear floor drain with a sloped floor design to enable the use of the attractive large-format (17” x 17”) Carrera-look porcelain tiles. Coordinating Carrera-look porcelain tiles with a band of color and shower cubby in Blue Pearl granite tie in with the color of the tile seat and ledge. A custom frameless glass shower enclosure with sleek glass door handles showcases the beautiful tile design. Replacing the existing Corian acrylic countertops and integrated sinks with granite countertops in Blue Pearl and rectangular under mount porcelain sinks created a gorgeous, striking contrast to the white vanity cabinetry. The widespread faucets featuring crystal handles in a chrome finish, sconce lighting with crystal embellishments and crystal knobs were perfect choices to enhance the elegant look for the desired space. After a busy day at work, our clients come home and enjoy a renewed, more open sanctuary/spa-like master bath and relax in style.

This home, located near downtown Elmhurst, IL, needed the works -- furnishings, paint, and art throughout. Since we worked with her previously, we had a good idea of the client’s design aesthetic and were excited to create something new and fresh! New construction allows a blank slate for interior design, but it can lack in personality. Our client’s goals were to bring warmth and textural elements into her new home. We were most excited to curate artwork for each of the rooms while creating complimentary flow between the pieces and throughout the open floor plan on the main living area. First, we set the mood with a muted color palette. Next, we added layers of texture with contrasting fabrics and rugs to really make a statement in this new construction home. Add in curated abstract artwork, coordinating lighting, and voila! a welcoming home ready for new memories!
