1st floor and kitchen redesign and remodel by the team at Advance Design Studio. Our clients needed increased pantry storage, a brighter space, and a functional island. It was our pleasure to bring their vision to life!

This room was for two adorable little boys, the clients wanted something fun and colorful, with lots of storage. The clients already had a blue sofa that they liked, so we found some fun orange floor lamps, with lemon yellow side tables to go with it. For storage we hacked some IKEA cabinets to build an entertainment center for their TV, with lots of storage below and shelves above for easy access to all of their toys. We used the same cabinets on the back wall for even more storage. Additionally, they have storage in the yellow ottoman. The orange bean bags were also a big hit with the boys, we have been told that they loved it and spend lots of time playing in their new playroom.

Inspiration for a contemporary home design remodel in Richmond

Intergated into the tub surround, this storage unit has public storage for towels on the front, and private storage around the back, next to the toilet for toiletries, febreeze, and of course a sonos speaker. This unit is also an "Ikea-Hack" composed simply of Ikea upper cabinet storage boxes wrapped in painted poplar face trim, giving the impression of a custom built-in for a very reasonable cost. The marble displays the bath canisters and is also used a s place to put your clean clothes as you are taking a shower.
