Utilizing a neutral monochromatic color scheme can make a small bedroom feel larger, less cluttered, and relaxing. Unique accent lighting serves double duty by not only being a practical utility piece but also creates more visual interest. Adding a pop to the room with the graphic floral upholstery of the chair and ottoman maintains the monochromatic scheme and balances the heavier wood pieces in the room.

Before the renovation, the kitchen featured dark wood cabinetry, a dark countertop, and heavier finishes that made the compact space feel visually dated. The remodel introduced lighter cabinetry and surfaces for a brighter, cleaner, and more cohesive appearance.

This Arlington kitchen originally featured warm brown cabinetry, beige countertops, and darker floor tile, which gave the compact layout a heavier appearance. The renovation focused on brightening the room while improving storage and maintaining an efficient kitchen footprint.

A multi-piece Lazy Susan consists of two rotating trays, each on their own shelf and bearing unit. In addition to greater stability in the unit, this enabled full access to the space without interference by a center rod, as well as the ability to store heavier items, such as small appliances, in the space. Interior cabinet lighting is activated when the door opens.
