Here is our permeable driveway in action after the Spring's first heavy downpour (April 9, 2015). Surface run off is direct and collected into the infiltration area below the cobblestone pavers. Given the amount of rainfall in such a short period, there was a temporary pool of water which drained completely into the permeable system within a minutes after the rain had stopped.

In modern architecture, summer heat and heavy rainfall are often managed with deep roof overhangs and slatted sunscreens shielding glazed surfaces as in this contemporary house.

Check out this stunning roof replacement, Georgia Roof Advisors recently completed in Sandy Springs! Our team had the privilege of working with an incredible homeowner who reached out to us when they noticed water seeping through a light fixture during heavy rainfall. With utmost care and expertise, we swiftly addressed the issue, replacing their old 15-year-old roof with a beautiful GAF Timberline HDZ Oyster Gray shingle.

2024 Springtime in Chicago was quite rainy. As a result, some trees could not stay rooted, especially a wide branching tree like the native Redbuds. We planted this tree almost 30 years ago and the owner never wanted it pruned. As a result, it became very heavy and could not remain upright. Sadly we removed it and hapily replaced a new Forest Pansy Redbud in it's place.

In the Blackhawk neighborhood of Danville, a home’s interior changes dramatically with a modern renovation that opens up the spaces, adds natural light, and highlights the outside world. Removing walls, adding more windows including skylights, and using a white and dark brown base-palette evokes a light, airy, but grounded experience to take in the beautiful landscapes of Danville.

Cascada 5.5" Matt Black Filtered Rainfall Showerhead
Tap water in most US cities contains chlorine, dissolved metals, and sediment that accumulate on your skin and hair every time you shower. If your skin has been feeling dry, your hair dull, or your scalp irritated and you can't figure out why — the water is usually the reason. This matt black filtered rainfall showerhead addresses it with an activated carbon system that works in 15 or 20 stages depending on your water supply, delivers 2 GPM of rainfall coverage, and fits any standard shower arm without tools.
What the Activated Carbon Filter Actually Does
Activated carbon works by binding to contaminants at a molecular level as water passes through — the same principle used in high-end drinking water filtration. In this showerhead, it targets chlorine (the most common municipal water additive), heavy metals from aging supply pipes, sediment, and chemical residue. The result is water that feels measurably softer and rinses cleaner. Skin that was reacting to chlorine stops reacting. Hair that was absorbing heavy metals starts holding its natural oils again.
Which Filter Stage Is Right for You
15-Stage — covers standard municipal water with typical chlorine treatment; the right choice for most US city water
20-Stage — adds extra filtration layers for harder water, higher chlorine concentrations, or well water with more dissolved minerals; worth upgrading if you notice scale buildup on faucets or fixtures

The lifespan of stucco siding can be dramatically reduced if it repeatedly comes in contact with heavy rainfall which was part of the reason our client, Bill, opted to have LeafGuard® Brand Gutters installed on his home.
LeafGuard® gutters feature a built-in protective hood that provides reliable clog protection year after year. This rounded top sends solid materials such as leaves and twigs off the side of your roof while at the same time drawing in rainwater and depositing it safely to an area of your yard where it will do no harm.

This beautiful American Craftsman style home located on the steep shorelines of Cavanaugh Lake needed an updated pay and heavy slope stabilization along the back of the existing house foundation. Given it's northern exposure along the shoreline the hardiest of wind-tolerant plants and materials were required to the pass the seasonal test of harsh winter winds and heavy spring rainfall. The outcome is a private and relaxing waterfront landing carefully nestled under the canopy of a mature Swamp White Oak tree.
