Inviting Master Bedroom Space
This large master bedroom was in need of a complete overhaul. While vaulted ceilings are a beautiful touch in any home, the extra room height can sometimes make a room feel uninviting, especially in an already large space. Dividing the room into three separate functioning areas (bedroom area, tv viewing area and private desk area) gave the space an inviting feel.
We incorporated the following touches:
An elegant gold, purple and green color palette
A massive four poster bed, which helped balance the tall ceiling
Custom window treatments to complete the room. The treatments flanking the bed were giving extra valance to help balance the tall ceilings
A now highly-functional step-down sitting area

This family-friendly kitchen renovation blends high-impact color with thoughtful functionality. Custom cabinetry in a rich, heritage green pairs with warm wood accents and a crisp quartz countertop island, perfect for casual breakfasts or homework sessions. The playful mix of open shelving, vintage-inspired tile, and brass fixtures adds character without sacrificing function. Designed with busy professionals in mind, this space is both elevated and approachable proof that high design can still feel like home.

Shelves: Custom fabricated from Walnut. Supported by steel brackets in the wall which were installed prior to applying drywall. These shelves were also built to accommodate the recessed LED lights below.

This spacious laundry room is conveniently tucked away behind the kitchen. Location and layout were specifically designed to provide high function and access while "hiding" the laundry room so you almost don't even know it's there. Design solutions focused on capturing the use of natural light in the room and capitalizing on the great view to the garden.
Slate tiles run through this area and the mud room adjacent so that the dogs can have a space to shake off just inside the door from the dog run. The white cabinetry is understated full overlay with a recessed panel while the interior doors have a rich big bolection molding creating a quality feel with an understated beach vibe.
One of my favorite details here is the window surround and the integration into the cabinetry and tile backsplash. We used 1x4 trim around the window , but accented it with a Cambria backsplash. The crown from the cabinetry finishes off the top of the 1x trim to the inside corner of the wall and provides a termination point for the backsplash tile on both sides of the window.

Inspired by the charm of an English cottage and the functionality required for modern living, this custom kitchen balances timeless detailing with thoughtful everyday convenience.
Soft sage-green cabinetry paired with crisp white perimeter cabinets creates a light and welcoming palette, while warm brass hardware and plumbing fixtures add richness throughout the space. A custom furniture-style island anchors the room, featuring turned legs and ample seating for family gatherings.
The farmhouse sink sits beneath twin windows dressed in delicate café curtains, creating a bright focal point filled with natural light. Custom cabinetry conceals modern conveniences while handcrafted details—including dovetailed drawer boxes, decorative lattice panels, and a unique curved quartz backsplash behind the range—bring character and craftsmanship to every corner.
Designed to feel collected, inviting, and timeless, this kitchen proves that highly functional spaces can also be filled with warmth, charm, and personality.

Our clients wanted to incorporate an East Coast vibe into their home. The kitchen had a great layout, but a wilted palette of earth tones looked outdated and uninspired. With a busy lifestyle and two kids in school, the couple needed a highly functional space that didn't skimp on style. Their research of design-build firms led them to the JRP website, and they called for a consultation the same day. After years of living with dark cabinets and a mix of heavy colors, the couple craved lightness. They wanted an airy kitchen with smooth, light-reflecting surfaces and a full-slab backsplash. A plan was drawn up for a complete rebuild that would change everything in the kitchen except the layout and the original tile-and-wood floors.
Now bright and uncluttered, this transitional kitchen is truly a space where the family can gather for years to come. Every part of the room draws you in, creating an atmosphere that embraces lingering conversations. The holistic design balances East Coast cool with California chic. Layers of contrasting textures achieve a high level of polish that looks and feels exceptional. The full-slab backsplash in Calacatta quartz stands out as a work of art, its glossy surface softly reflecting natural light. Matching quartz countertops add lustrous movement, where painted and natural wood textures quietly anchor the room. New, two-tone cabinetry is fresh and on-trend. A stunning linear chandelier in bronze evokes classical warmth. Where a built-in desk once collected clutter, stacked shaker cabinets now incorporate storage and visual interest. Integrated appliances, beautifully concealed behind DeWils cabinetry, hint at minimalist sophistication.

During the designing phase of the project, Richard envisioned a custom fridge wall unit that would house a panel ready fridge and a coffee and microwave cabinet. In doing so he took every detail into account to make it a highly functional and stunning piece.

The client asked us to create a low maintenance, highly functional front entry to this beachfront retreat. As with most beach homes, guest parking is critical and creating an easy to navigate parking area is paramount to design success. We chose to maximize the front yard without turning it into a parking lot. Native crushed stone parking pads surrounded by sun loving, drought tolerant plants create exactly what the client was looking for.

Using a bright and fresh color scheme invites any kid to be creative in their own space and to imagine endless possibilities without leaving their room.

This modern lakeside farmhouse living room blends luxury and functionality, highlighted by a stone fireplace with a wood mantel as its centerpiece. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams create a spacious and open feel, while built-in floating shelves provide stylish storage and display options. The room is filled with natural light from large windows, complementing the warm tones of the wide-plank hardwood flooring. The inviting design extends into a nearby entryway featuring a charming, light-filled aesthetic, making this Lake LBJ custom home a standout in modern farmhouse living.

This markedly modern, yet warm and inviting abode in the Oklahoma countryside boasts some of our favorite kitchen items all in one place. Miele appliances (oven, steam, coffee maker, paneled refrigerator, freezer, and "knock to open" dishwasher), induction cooking on an island, a highly functional Galley Workstation and the latest technology in cabinetry and countertop finishes to last a lifetime. Grain matched natural walnut and matte nanotech touch-to-open white and grey cabinets provide a natural color palette that allows the interior of this home to blend beautifully with the prairie and pastures seen through the large commercial windows on both sides of this kitchen & living great room. Cambria quartz countertops in Brittanica formed with a waterfall edge give a natural random pattern against the square lines of the rest of the kitchen. David Cobb photography

The goal of this remodel was to create a highly functional kitchen that meshed seamlessly with the Clients' 1950's era home. Our design marries refinished oak hardwood flooring, sleek walnut veneer cabinets, quartz countertops, tile backsplash, modern globe lighting and oversized brushed nickel hardware. Recycled stools add just the right note of whimsy.
