Nothing held back in the MASTER SUITE. Here the grey is a more violet version for a more feminine and soothing feel. BUT... It is highly juxtaposed with Modern “in your face” touches. The King Canopy bed is in polished chrome, the leaning Mirror in steel, the metal frame chairs remind you a guy sleeps here too. But again the softness returns with the white Cameroon headdress, the silver leafed bed chests and the sumptuous white shag carpet. And yes... The French doors swing out to a private balcony overlooking the Pool, Patio, and Green Grounds beyond.

This open and airy kitchen by Millhaven Homes in Utah has hints of farmhouse flair and Cambria Clareanne Matte™ countertops. A large island serves for entertaining and family gatherings.

Kitchen island with blue shaker style cabinetry opposes the wall of white cabinetry and white tile backsplash; blue ILVE range with gold finished fixtures add pops of color; reclaimed beams and vaulted ceilings with finish carpentry details including v-groove and board and batten add character, while the wide plank pine flooring hints at the house's historic origin.

New homeowners wanted to update the kitchen before moving in. KBF replaced all the flooring with a mid-tone plank engineered wood, and designed a gorgeous new kitchen that is truly the centerpiece of the home. The crystal chandelier over the center island is the first thing you notice when you enter the space, but there is so much more to see! The architectural details include corbels on the range hood, cabinet panels and matching hardware on the integrated fridge, crown molding on cabinets of varying heights, creamy granite countertops with hints of gray, black, brown and sparkle, and a glass arabasque tile backsplash to reflect the sparkle from that stunning chandelier.

Traditional design blends well with 21st century accessibility standards. Designed by architect Jeremiah Battles of Acacia Architects and built by Ben Quie & Sons, this beautiful new home features details found a century ago, combined with a creative use of space and technology to meet the owner’s mobility needs. Even the elevator is detailed with quarter-sawn oak paneling. Feeling as though it has been here for generations, this home combines architectural salvage with creative design. The owner brought in vintage lighting fixtures, a Tudor fireplace surround, and beveled glass for windows and doors. The kitchen pendants and sconces were custom made to match a 1912 Sheffield fixture she had found. Quarter-sawn oak in the living room, dining room, and kitchen, and flat-sawn oak in the pantry, den, and powder room accent the traditional feel of this brand-new home.
