The homeowners’ love of fantasy is expressed in their unique home and property. The fire screen suggests a round hobbit hole door with ivy growing around it. A dual locking mechanism is operated with the right door handle and secures the glass doors closed. The adjustable vent mechanism at the bottom allows for precise air and fire control. Intimate Stair with Hobbit Door . This project was a Guest House for a long time Battle Associates Client. Smaller, smaller, smaller the owners kept saying about the guest cottage right on the water's edge. The result was an intimate, almost diminutive, two bedroom cottage for extended family visitors.
