Inspiration for an eclectic bedroom remodel in Seattle

Layout and Scope of Work We ingeniously reimagined the original layout of the house to meet the homeowner's specific requirements. This extensive scope of work includes structural modifications, additions, and optimization of existing spaces to maximize functionality and establish a seamless flow within the home. We created significant and life-changing additional space without the extra time or expense of having to go through a minor variance with the city. The kitchen was the main focus of the renovation and included a significant floorplan reconfiguration. The larger kitchen now boasts a spacious island, complete with a bar sink, microwave drawer, wine fridge, and high-end appliances. The addition of a quartz Caesarstone rugged concrete countertop and a striking rebel-tiled fireplace in the living room further accentuates the contemporary design on the main floor. The primary suite, encompassing a bedroom, a wet-style ensuite with heated floors, and a dressing room, showcases an open-concept layout. Upstairs, we expanded the family's living options and offered private places by adding a fourth upstairs bedroom and private home office.

Horizontal Murphy Bed and cabinet. There are many different design configurations for Murphy Beds. This is an example of a horizontal design where a vertical bed may not fit the space. These beds are durable, comfortable, and easy to open and close.

This custom-made glass and wood garage door was ingeniously designed, crafted and installed by Dynamic Garage Door in Los Angeles, CA. The garage door design is quite eclectic while preserving the warmth of the wood's natural grain and adding glass panes to allow ample natural light to reach the inside of the garage area. Since the Garage is mainly used as a children's playroom it was important for the homeowner to have enough glass windows on the garage door to allow natural light in but strong enough to support children playing inside. The glass panes are tempered for added strength and precautionary measures. The bottom garage door panel is composed of solid wood raised panels which creates a safety barrier through the lower portion of the door and also to add architectural elements seen in Spanish Colonial Architecture already. The eclectic taste of this custom wood garage door is a fabulous fit for most any type of architectural home style. For instance this garage door design can easily be used on Craftsman, Arts & Crafts style homes while it would be a game in a modern or contemporary home as well. This Australian-inspired new construction was a successful collaboration between homeowner, architect, designer and builder. The home features a Henrybuilt kitchen, butler's pantry, private home office, guest suite, master suite, entry foyer with concealed entrances to the powder bathroom and coat closet, hidden play loft, and full front and back landscaping with swimming pool and pool house/ADU.

Details: In this new cabinet, spices are stored inside the door on adjustable trays. Cabinet shelves were made slightly shallower to accommodate the spice depth.

This kitchen blends the contemporary goals of the client with their traditional Montgomery County home. The contrast provided by the walnut veneer and milk white finishes on the cabinetry produce a contemporary feel while still providing a warm and inviting environment for this growing family.

The impressive floor-to-ceiling hutch cabinet that holds gift wrapping supplies is custom-designed and built by Mosby to fit exact crafting needs. It starts with Wellborn Madison maple cabinets with a white finish, and Cal Crystal Olde World Collection cabinet pulls. This was an annex office that wasn't very inviting and was rarely used. We turned it into a library/office/private TV nook. The custom woodwork incorporates an ingenious murphy bed system with a high-grade mattress and a wood panel base. the bed can be retracted fully made. The cabinetry on either side of the bed offers built-in guest closets, dresser drawers, pull-out night stands and charging stations.
