Now home to 23 modern duplex apartments, the building was designed with sustainable living in mind. Rather than seeking more space, the ideal design was shifted to using space ingeniously.

Folding Pocket Chairs that are less than 1” deep when closed; 8 chairs are stored on a rack less than 5.5” deep and hung on the wall above the Goliath.

It's a water closet so beautiful you'll have to restrain yourself from bragging about it to all of your guests.
Another interesting aspect of the water closets in the master bathroom is that both his and hers are on a motion sensor. Since both closets are fairly recessed into the bathroom, when the lights come on, they serve as a perfect nightlight. Now that's what I call ingenious design.

The removal of a large, brick chimney and some disjointed structural beams in the original house allowed the dining room to have spacious access to the new open kitchen. A new built-in china hutch added some much needed storage, borrowing space from the mudroom storage behind the wall. This ingenious solution allowed for extra depth without intruding into the dining room.

Sliding pine barn board doors in the Harper Farm collection create a unique rustic wall system which would easily be as at home in an industrial setting as down on the farm. Executed in a Warm Pine finish on pine veneers and solids, this entertainment unit boasts open and closed storage as well as adjustable shelves and pullout bin-style drawers to meet every media need. Complete with Magnussen’s attention to every detail, pier units feature LED lights and felt lined drawers while wire management and levelers are also included. All these details plus board and batten design showcase an ingenious metal rail sliding door system which add up to the perfectly designed media wall.

The custom woodwork incorporates an ingenious murphy bed system with a high-grade mattress and a wood panel base. the bed can be retracted fully made. The cabinetry on either side of the bed offers built-in guest closets, dresser drawers, pull-out night stands and charging stations.
