Living room - living room idea in Minneapolis

The goal of the client was to have a basement getaway like no other. In addition to their authentic Irish Pub (imported from Ireland) & classic billiard/poker area, they wanted a place that they to gather and watch multiple football games and the occasional movie in luxury while still keeping the pub atmosphere. After meeting with the client, we designed a media retreat that met the homeowners expectations for a getaway that was easy to use and enhanced their decor. We installed an 84" Ultra-HD 4K flat panel, flanked by 2 65" High Definition displays, each can display a different game and switch displays on the fly. The system is controlled by a Crestron Control system as well as the multiple zones of audio through-out the basement and the outside pool area. The Crestron is controlled by the client easily using an iPad with icon driven interface custom programmed by Georgia Home Theater. This install was a success in meeting the clients wishes to have a relaxing area that was inviting and simple to use. Jason Robinson @ 2014

A&E Construction. This Pennington NJ remodel of a master bath en-suite features marble basketweave tile detailing and a generous walk-in shower area. One memorable aspect of this design is the continuous marble slab that simultaneously serves as a tub deck and continues into the shower area to serve as a bench seat. Located in Central Oregon’s Black Butte Ranch, this house is a refined take on lodge-style architecture and was designed by JHL from the ground up. The heart of the home is a beautiful stone fireplace which reaches up to the wood-covered ceiling. Large windows look into the surrounding forest. The JHL team balanced the home’s soaring scale with cozier elements, like built-in window seats flanking the hearth, handmade rugs and warm lighting.

Gable screen porch with tile floor and low maintenance handrail. Porch features T&G ceiling and pvc wrapped columns and beam. Deck below is a watertight deck with T&G ceiling and pvc wrapped columns. Columns also feature a stone base with flagstone cap. The outdoor living spaced is made complete with a new paver patio that extends below the deck and beyond.

This kitchen features Fieldstone Custom Cabinetry in the Stratford door style with a clean white finish. There are stacked cabinets that reach the tray ceiling with clear glass fronts ion the upper level. The backsplash features the 3x6 ceramic subway tile in Grigio from Cancos' Whisper line. Kohler fixtures were used, including the Whitehaven apron front sink and the Artifacts kitchen & prep faucets. A filtered hot-cold water dispenser from Insinkerator was also chosed to complement the faucets. Hardware, including cup pulls, is from Top Knobs' Somerset Weston line in Antique Pewter. The Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Basko appliances were paneled and installed with the flush-inset approach, to keep a streamlined look with the cabinets. A rectangular island includes a prep sink and double-ogee edge treatment on Silestone's Cygnus color. The decorative wood hood from Stanici delivers a focal point with beautiful curved lines, found also above & below the refrigerator and the shape of the cup pulls.
