Architecturally, the house expresses a minimalist, modern language through clean horizontal lines, a flat roof profile, and textured façade finishes. Vertical screen elements provide solar protection and visual depth, while the landscaping reinforces privacy and a calm residential atmosphere. The garage also includes the laundry room and ensures efficient use of all spaces.

The OPC TV millwork package introduces a series of custom-designed built-in elements that define the character and functionality of the workplace interior. Developed as an integrated architectural system, the millwork supports storage, display, and workspace needs while reinforcing a cohesive material language throughout the studio. Each element is carefully detailed to balance durability and refinement, combining practical requirements with a clean, considered aesthetic. The result is a tailored interior framework that enhances everyday use while contributing to the overall identity of the production environment.

BAHND DESIGN STUDIO is an architecture and design practice founded by Amanda Beethe to develop thoughtful, modern, sustainable architecture and design. They work with absolute dedication to the context of each project, ensuring that every space speaks to its owner in their own language. Their concepts draw inspiration from the place of each project: the history, nature and culture, and incorporate that into its future form.

The suite was gutted down to concrete and studs, taking down several walls in the process. The design was influenced by the character and materials of a converted New York loft, and using the vernacular West Coast Modern language, it was infused with warm wood accents, exposed concrete, and framed views of the North Shore mountains.

With two generations under one roof, each with distinct aesthetic preferences, the challenge was to unify the spaces with a common design language. Clean, contemporary lines, simple yet thoughtful details, and welcoming colors were employed to make both generations feel at home. The result is a dwelling that allows one to embrace a well-deserved retirement, while the other is ready to dive headlong into the hustle and bustle of raising a family and exploring the great outdoors. The on-site workshop ensures efficiency for years to come, as it serves as the perfect space for maintaining bikes and waxing skis.

This was a 7/8 tear-down and build new. Which means the homeowner wanted to keep the Master suite which was constructed a few years ago, but tear down the rest. The lot is terraced and on the lower level is an outdoor pool with many plantings around it and a poolhouse. The owners wanted the house to use similar language as the existing pool house. Tucked behind a soft archway, this butler’s pantry, a secondary service space, continues the home’s architectural language of subtle curves, strong contrasts, and clean transitions. The arched opening aligns with other rounded features throughout the home, reinforcing visual cohesion and flow. Integrated storage and countertop space support both function and refinement, connecting seamlessly to adjacent formal entertaining areas.

Viewed from the media room, this corridor highlights the home’s architectural spine. A full-height pocket door slides seamlessly into the wall, allowing the media space to open fully to the adjacent entertaining areas or close for privacy. The continuous board-formed concrete wall reinforces the material language established at the entry and extends toward the mudroom and foyer beyond. Clean lines, concealed detailing, and uninterrupted circulation create a refined balance between openness and retreat.

The Parker's mudroom is the last detail in this NARI award-winning remodel — and it's a reminder that Kingdom & Co. designs for daily life, not just photo shoots. A built-in bench with a dark painted backdrop, matte black coat hooks and open lower shoe storage creates a defined drop zone right inside the front door. The wide-plank oak flooring runs through from the entry, keeping even the most functional space connected to the home's design language.

With Contino Ξ12, LEICHT is extending the Collection 2023, in which different planning scenarios are presented, with a new, handle-less kitchen front with a thickness of 12 mm and the finest handcrafted quality. Available with a lacquer finish or in aluminum, the slender front rounds off different styles of room with an elegant design language and architecturally clear lines. Thanks to the reduced material thickness, Contino Ξ12 is compelling not only visually thanks to the high-quality appearance of its handle-less surface but also in terms of its feel in direct comparison to thicker standard fronts.
