This garden in Athens, GA needed a new lease of life. We re-designed and installed the backyard area, adding in the patio and pathway area to complement the existing structures. Shrubs and perennials were planted around to create a feeling of peaceful intimacy. Zoomworks

This bathroom space was already functional in its layout, however, needed a fresh lease on style. After removing everything, our design team coordinated an amazing refresh on this space with the homeowners and came up with a traditional yet modern twist on renewing its look! Master bedroom, relocated from the first floor, overlooks the Charles. Built in cabinetry flanking the windows in the Mansard rooof, include bins, laundry baskets and a dressing table. A new walk-in closet and a reach-in closet, is not shown. Bookshelves were created to flank the bed.

This condo required a complete overall, due mold issues. So we reinvented the space to bring this condo to its glory. This Kitchen space went from cramped to spacious. The master bath got a new lease on life. In addition the laundry was a disaster, by rearranging appliances and turning an electrical panel to the hall to met code we were able to add a sink and countertop landing space. By removing the tub we were able to increase the vanity area and the shower to make this master a wonderful space.

This spectacular uptown Toronto home got a new lease on life thanks to a full one-year makeover of house and yard. The original pool deck beside the house in random cut flagstone was replaced with ultra-smooth acid etched concrete to match the new cladding on the house. The pool’s marbelite interior was replaced with a premium Pebble Fina finish which contains shiny sea shell fragments to add sparkle.

Inspiration for a timeless closet remodel in DC Metro

An additional wood burning stove provides cozy warmth, using the existing colonial chimney. Pieces of the house's original first period rough wood framing are intentionally left visible throughout the house, highlighting the home's long history. WKD’s experience in historic preservation and antique curation restored this gentleman’s farm into a casual, comfortable, livable home for the next chapter in this couple’s lives. The project included a new family entrance and mud room, new powder room, and opening up some of the rooms for better circulation. While WKD curated the client’s existing collection of art and antiques, refurbishing where necessary, new furnishings were also added to give the home a new lease on life.
