Barn doors beautifully upgrade any ordinary doorway into a rustic and elegant transition between spaces. The sliding mechanism provides significant savings in space compared to traditional doors, making a barn door perfect for pantries, closets, bathrooms and other small spaces. For larger openings, consider pairing two barn doors for an eye-catching entryway. Black steel sliding hardware kit and iron door handle included. Light assembly required. All of our doors are handcrafted from solid cedar and finished with wax in our woodworking shop in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Currently available for local pickup only. A Garden room separating garage from house proper. A repurposed tannery bench found and detailed by the architect creates this handsome room. Earthy and elemental materials are selected for the home that reference the barn without directly mimicking it. Wooden members found inside the barn and from other barns bridge ceilings and are used in floors along with rustic slate adding to a sense of simplicity to the farmhouse design.

Custom locally built dining table designed by For a family wanting a dramatic entry and dining room, but with requirements that it be an indestructible venue for weekly brunches with guest lists including small children! Our first solution was to create a contrasting border integral to the hardwood floor, in lieu of an area rug. From there, we introduced furniture in resilient materials such as fiberglass chairs and a locally made custom table of Heather's design in reclaimed hardwood, steel and acrylic.
