This new deck has new posts attached to the old posts, and protected with stain. The piles of dirt were removed. A metal piece was added at the bottom to prevent animals for going down there. They decided to keep the fence that surrounds their A/C equipment in place for now. This grey composite material looks great and is going to last them a lot longer than their old deck and require much less maintenance. We went with composite because it happened to cost as much as cedar right now for the one we got, and was a no brainer for how much money they'll save on staining and maintenance throughout the years. Happy client. We're also happy with the way it looks, and I'm sure they'll make great use out of it.
