This home in Napa off Silverado was rebuilt after burning down in the 2017 fires. Architect David Rulon, a former associate of Howard Backen, known for this Napa Valley industrial modern farmhouse style. Composed in mostly a neutral palette, the bones of this house are bathed in diffused natural light pouring in through the clerestory windows. Beautiful textures and the layering of pattern with a mix of materials add drama to a neutral backdrop. The homeowners are pleased with their open floor plan and fluid seating areas, which allow them to entertain large gatherings. The result is an engaging space, a personal sanctuary and a true reflection of it's owners' unique aesthetic. Inspirational features are metal fireplace surround and book cases as well as Beverage Bar shelving done by Wyatt Studio, painted inset style cabinets by Gamma, moroccan CLE tile backsplash and quartzite countertops.

Large drawers were incorporated for easy access and custom designed with outlets inside – perfect for using the hair dryer and electric razor without creating clutter on the counter.

This cramped 1970s master bathroom was in need of an organized overhaul with modern selections. A custom barn door with mirror on both sides and unique overlay on one side creates a beautiful invitation to this retreat. The particularly designed bathroom floor provides an eye catching iridescent tile strip that is repeated in the shower as the vertical band. Opposite of the new shower fixtures is a tall bump-in with shower shelves where the lowest shelf doubles as a toe ledge for shaving. The new sink vanity cabinets offer optimal organizational areas including a drawer that incorporates a USB plug-in for a charging station and an outlet for all the hair styling tools. Outside this bathroom area is a special dressing area with custom cabinets to incorporate storage and organization for laundry hampers, clothes, jewelry and purses. A large, less restrictive space can sometimes be a challenge to remodel as the possibilities are truly unlimited. The goal was to create a functional and warm space that still felt open, clean and utilized the large space well. Custom glass panel cabinetry with sliding doors and a central drawer bank features ample storage and even multiple standard outlets inside. Vessel sinks sit atop the custom quartz counters that compliment the stone resin free standing bath. On the back side of the central wall is a walk in, from both sides, his and hers shower. Custom tile through out ties both sides of this large bath together. The shower features multiple niches.

This traditional bathroom design in Dresher, PA combines comfort, style, and customized storage in an elegant space packed with amazing design details. The DuraSupreme vanity cabinet has a Marley door style and hammered glass Mullion doors, with caraway stain color on cherry wood and a decorative valance. The cabinets are accented by TopKnobs polished nickel hardware and a Caesarstone Statuario Nuvo countertop with a built up ogee edge. The cabinetry includes specialized features like a grooming cabinet pull out, jewelry insert, and laundry hamper pull out. The open shower design is perfect for relaxation. It includes a Ceasarstone shower bench and wall, white geology 12 x 24 tiled walls, Island Stone tan and beige random stone mix shower floor, and VogueBay Botticino Bullet tiled shower niches. The shower plumbing is all Toto in satin nickel, and towel bars and robe hooks are perfectly positioned by the shower entrance. The bathtub has a Caesarstone Collarada Drift tub deck and Flaviker Natural tile tub sides, with the same tile used on the bathroom floor. A Toto Drake II toilet sits next to the bathtub, separated by a half wall from the bathroom's pocket door entrance.

This master bathroom was in need of some refreshing! The townhome was built in 1995 in Apple Valley, MN and had not been updated since. The homeowners were not interested in a full remodel, but something that would brighten up the space, give them more storage, and help them to sell in a few years. We achieved this by installing a new vanity with a tower cabinet on top for added storage. The lower cabinet has extra drawers below the sink cabinets for toilet paper, extra toiletries, and towels. We decided on using 2 tones for the cabinet to keep the room light, but still give some contrast to the rest of the space. The tower cabinet has a lift up door with an outlet for the items used everyday like toothbrushes, a hair dryer, and flat iron. The next thing we updated was the tub - the existing tub was not functioning properly, we decided to replace it with a smaller tub and new fixtures. We were lucky enough that the homeowner had a few extra tiles so that we could add in a few pieces to make up the space of the smaller footprint. In the shower, we took out the heavy framed glass door and replaced with a taller frameless swinging showerdoor. We also replaced all the fixtures with brushed nickel and added some additional storage on the walls for shampoos and soaps. Finally, we added a fresh coat of paint to completely brighten up the space and transform it into a new bathroom! We kept the existing tile, the shower glass block, and all the trim in the bathroom. Its amazing what a bit of updating can really do to transform a space!

By removing the wall between the toilet shower room and the vanity, space was made for a tall storage cabinet and a pocket door to close off the vanity from the bedroom. Needing to work within the original foot print of the room, a zero threshold shower, grab bars, hand-held shower head on a slide bar, shower seat and electrical plug by the toilet ensure that these homeowners can safely age in place. The shower surround is book matched the full dimension of the shower. A new operative window was incorporated into the remodel to provide natural light to a room that was previously windowless.
