MH2GVIP Master Bedroom
Suitable for a college student, this VIP bedroom has been designed with modern yet functional furniture. A modern bed in white lacquer and walnut finish features a stunning headboard with LED lights in a wave pattern. Two sphere mesh table lamps sit on the nightstands providing soft illumination. Behind the headboard the image of an old car mural in a striking blue color showcases the bedroom theme. All the walls are covered with patterned wallpaper in hues of beige, grey and brown. An oversize double drum shade in organza hangs in the center of the room while providing illumination. The bedroom has been completed with a desk finished in white lacquer and walnut below a couple of white shelves floating on the wall across from the bed. Since the house is close to ocean and surrounded by celebrities' mansions, the interior design is slightly eclectic with a mix of coastal casual with a hint of modern Hollywood glam.

This 4-story multifamily underwent a major renovation and was transformed into a spacious and functional family home for our clients. Careful consideration of our client’s lifestyle and plans for the future dictated every design decision. They needed a space that would function well now that they are a young professional couple and a space that would nicely accommodate a growing family in the future. Greater emphasis was placed on common family spaces and bedrooms were designed exclusively for sleep with minimal room for work or study and without TV connections to discourage those activities from taking place in these spaces. Instead, common places such as the family room and the kitchen are inviting and foster those activities.
Due to sagging floors in need of extensive repair, it made more financial sense to replace them entirely. We took this historic house and by re-pitching the roof in an inverted form we were able to gain an overall 36” which we used for raising the floors. This, in turn, allowed us to bring the ground level up to code and be suitable for living space and gave us additional ceiling room on the upper floors. The ground floor was designed to be used as a rental unit and can be reincorporated into the home later when more space is needed.
Both front and back facades were replaced with timeless brick and vertical wood siding and all windows and front doors were replaced. The ground floor features a one-bedroom suite, living room, and open kitchen-dining area. On the first floor, we achieved a more effective entry sequence to the living room, an open-concept design leading to the kitchen. The interior is bright and airy, and the kitchen opens up to the deck in the back and the patio, making entertaining indoors and outdoors seamless. The design works in a way to accommodate the addition of a stair leading to the ground level when the rental unit is incorporated back into the house.
Up on the second floor, a suite with a bathroom was designed with grandparents or guests in mind. Also, two additional bedrooms are now being used as an exercise room and a zoom-worthy office but can later be used as kids’ rooms.
Last but not least, the third floor features the master suite with his and hers walk-in closets, a master bath, and a library.

Isaman design, Inc.Situated in rural east Templeton is the Santa Barbara style estate that is the Castillo Residence. It exemplifies the classic nature of old world Spain, sporting massive timber trusses, authentic terra cotta tile flooring and pristine white washed walls. The entry to the residence is suitably grand, with a sweeping stair case up to a landing that overlooks the antique wood front door. The house boasts lofty ceilings in the great room, and a two story library complete with spiral stair case. This house was not only designed to suit its human residents but also its canine residents, and they have their own room off of the 5-car garage at the lower level. The master suite occupies a full wing of the residence, at a mere 1,700 square feet, providing space for a master sitting room, bedroom, bathroom, and sprawling walk in closets with laundry facilities. There are a plethora of outdoor living spaces, including a full outdoor kitchen, reflecting pool water feature and massive covered porches overlooking the Templeton countryside.
Anthony James Master Builders, LLCA home remodel and renovation project, #AJMBHeartOfTheHome is a stunning transformation of this busy family's main living spaces: the kitchen. mudroom, and first floor powder room. The transformation had the AJMB team reimagine the space so that form, style, and function met in an effortless way. The end result is a super stylish kitchen that is suitable for entertaining coupled with a mudroom with ample storage and stunning bath to impress guests.
Turkel DesignOur vision for living on a steeply-sloped site is a stack of two living spaces. You enter the upper living space from the uphill side, then walk toward the view as the hill falls away, leaving you high in the air. The lower living space is tucked into the hill: you descend to it by an open stair, then walk toward the view, and step out directly onto the hillside.
The upper living space is an expansive great room, and off to one side is a full master-bedroom suite - allowing the possibility for single-level living. This level also features a large screened porch, directly off the kitchen – all sharing in the same unobstructed view. The lower living space includes a more intimate family room, flanked by a bedroom and junior master suite. Suitable as a vacation home or primary residence, this design can be customized to allow for downhill entry if required.
TVL Creative Ltd.This 1910 West Highlands home was so compartmentalized that you couldn't help to notice you were constantly entering a new room every 8-10 feet. There was also a 500 SF addition put on the back of the home to accommodate a living room, 3/4 bath, laundry room and back foyer - 350 SF of that was for the living room. Needless to say, the house needed to be gutted and replanned.
Kitchen+Dining+Laundry-Like most of these early 1900's homes, the kitchen was not the heartbeat of the home like they are today. This kitchen was tucked away in the back and smaller than any other social rooms in the house. We knocked out the walls of the dining room to expand and created an open floor plan suitable for any type of gathering. As a nod to the history of the home, we used butcherblock for all the countertops and shelving which was accented by tones of brass, dusty blues and light-warm greys. This room had no storage before so creating ample storage and a variety of storage types was a critical ask for the client. One of my favorite details is the blue crown that draws from one end of the space to the other, accenting a ceiling that was otherwise forgotten.
Primary Bath-This did not exist prior to the remodel and the client wanted a more neutral space with strong visual details. We split the walls in half with a datum line that transitions from penny gap molding to the tile in the shower. To provide some more visual drama, we did a chevron tile arrangement on the floor, gridded the shower enclosure for some deep contrast an array of brass and quartz to elevate the finishes.
Powder Bath-This is always a fun place to let your vision get out of the box a bit. All the elements were familiar to the space but modernized and more playful. The floor has a wood look tile in a herringbone arrangement, a navy vanity, gold fixtures that are all servants to the star of the room - the blue and white deco wall tile behind the vanity.
Full Bath-This was a quirky little bathroom that you'd always keep the door closed when guests are over. Now we have brought the blue tones into the space and accented it with bronze fixtures and a playful southwestern floor tile.
Living Room & Office-This room was too big for its own good and now serves multiple purposes. We condensed the space to provide a living area for the whole family plus other guests and left enough room to explain the space with floor cushions. The office was a bonus to the project as it provided privacy to a room that otherwise had none before.

Irons Brothers Construction IncThis custom-built residence was our client’s childhood home, holding sentimental memories for her. Today as a detail-oriented Dentist and her husband, a retired Sea Captain, they wanted to put their own stamp on the house, making it suitable for their own unique lifestyle.
The main objective of the design was to increase the Puget Sound views in every room possible. This
entailed some areas receiving major overhaul, such as the master suite, lesser updates to the kitchen and office, and a surprise remodel to the expansive wine cellar. All these were done while preserving the home’s 1970s-era quirkiness.

Nicole Arnold InteriorsNew to Dallas from California, this couple engaged us to fully furnish and partially renovate their new Frisco home. They were uncertain of what to do with their new-Texas sized house, nor did they know which style was most fitting, but we had loads of fun figuring that out with them! They knew they loved white and neutrals, yet needed to balance that affinity with functionality, suitable for their young children. We brought in furnishings with light toned woods, scaled to fill up their large spaces, along with light and bright performance fabrics that would hold up even with small children and a beloved (not so small) dog. Incorporating textures were key in keeping depth within the designs and appears in rugs, floor tiles, bedding, wallpaper, and fabrics throughout. The glass light fixtures, organic inspired artwork, and monochromatic tiles keep things feeling casually elegant and completely livable. All together, the result is just what they wanted…a beautiful, calm-inducing, comfortable place they are excited to call home.

Freestanding bathtubs have been around for nearly 150 years, and they are still part of every day design. Available in endless shapes, colors and sizes. The freestanding bathtub has really evolved in terms of materials, aesthetics and comfort.
We recently collaborated with the incredibly talented Andria of Andria Fromm Interiors in Nashville. Our customer Jenny was renovating her bathroom and Andria had a stunning vision.
Jenny wanted a shower as well as being able to enjoy soaking in a bathtub. They decided that installing a freestanding bathtub in an alcove they created was the best option to enjoy the best of both worlds. The end result is simply stunning.
She completely transformed the room by wrapping the entire bathroom in tile. A beautiful mix marble, and tile adds dimension to the entire design. Andria integrated some Earthy elements as well, some greenery and wood trim.
Natural light enters from the window centered above the T & L Adoni freestanding jetted bathtub providing a view of the garden. The soft white matte finish on the bathtub gives the appearance of natural stone with a clean crisp finish. Sunlight bounces off the elegant gold accents bringing a charming glow into the bathroom.
