Inspiration for a large timeless master white tile and marble tile medium tone wood floor, white floor and single-sink freestanding bathtub remodel in Raleigh with recessed-panel cabinets, white cabinets, blue walls, an undermount sink, marble countertops, white countertops and a built-in vanity

a custom corner desk full of functional places for their computers, plenty of room for storage and easy access to office supplies.
The surface of this unit is Cocoa with a black high pressure laminate top. A custom one-piece angle countertop maximizes usable working area and eliminates dead space.
The surface area can remain uncluttered thanks to backed upper and lower cabinets with open space on the top and drawers on the bottom. A traditional crown molding provides just the right accent and a modesty panel is included.
Notice that this work area is sensitive to cable control and provides convenient and unobtrusive ways to connect without cords running haphazardly across the work surface.
If this unit looks like it was built to exactly fit this space, you can be sure that your conclusion is correct. One of the great things about CHP is that we make a habit out of fabricating just the right custom solution to fit your specific needs. No matter how hopeless your space looks, give the craftsmen at Chicagoland Home Products a chance to work with you to provide a made-to-order answer to your dilemma.

Considering the flashy nature and the innovative designs that rustic contemporary houses are sporting of late, it really is not easy to fabricate a home that can showcase a mountain rustic look with just the right touch of contemporary.
Yet, this bold design, is really something ‘different' and the moment you lay your eyes on it, you cannot but help fall in love with its well-defined plan, sleek look, amazing use of natural stone and integration of BC fir and raw metal into the structure. This house is a direct design response to site, form and utility of building material, which combine to create a solid, robust structure. Disclosure of the stone work, expansive art glass windows and timber frame accents creates a visual impact. The front entry and facade is aligned with the midday sun. The long side of the triple garage act as a retaining wall.
Inside this house, rooms slide into each other, dissolving the problem of further enclosure. The plan is unrestricted by the geometry and a sense of infinite space is achieved. Materials are reduced to a palette of metal, concrete, glass and timber, underpinning the desire for a rustic but still contemporary home to be basic and creating an embedded modesty.

This single family home sits on a tight, sloped site. Within a modest budget, the goal was to provide direct access to grade at both the front and back of the house.
The solution is a multi-split-level home with unconventional relationships between floor levels. Between the entrance level and the lower level of the family room, the kitchen and dining room are located on an interstitial level. Within the stair space “floats” a small bathroom.
The generous stair is celebrated with a back-painted red glass wall which treats users to changing refractive ambient light throughout the house.
Black brick, grey-tinted glass and mirrors contribute to the reasonably compact massing of the home. A cantilevered upper volume shades south facing windows and the home’s limited material palette meant a more efficient construction process. Cautious landscaping retains water run-off on the sloping site and home offices reduce the client’s use of their vehicle.
The house achieves its vision within a modest footprint and with a design restraint that will ensure it becomes a long-lasting asset in the community.

A few years ago, my Dad broke his hip, and needed his tub converted to a shower. Just because necessity brings on a remodel, does not mean it's can't be both beautiful and functional.
We replaced the traditional tub with a low profile shower pan and substantial sliding glass doors. We added a stone bench for seating, and changed out the hardware to include both a stationary and hand-held shower head. And of course added some grab bars for safety. We also added a built in soap dish/ shampoo caddy in the wall.
On a side note, this is the most shared picture of our work on Pintrest. Apparently we aren't the only ones wanting to make sure our parents are comfortable and safe when at home.

Our clients asked for a modern design that would recognize and respect its rural New England setting. The white-painted, wooden, gabled forms of the New England farmhouse are here reinterpreted in a crisp, abstracted composition. The glassy, lantern-like entry, with its prow-shaped canopy, signals the open, expansive space within.
The center of the H-plan is occupied by a high-ceilinged living and dining room with a concrete floor and a wall of glass doors opening onto a courtyard terrace. One wing contains two bedrooms and bathrooms, and the other houses the kitchen, porch, and study. The H-plan insures that all the rooms have multiple exposures for good ventilation, sunlight throughout the day, and views of the bucolic site.
The simplicity and modesty of the house extend to the landscape, where concrete retaining walls define a plateau for outdoor living on the downhill side. Most of the site is left in an un-manicured state of meadow and woods.

This previously unused attic space is now a sauna/yoga room. The left sauna wall follows the attic rafters down diagonally to allow a wider space for leg room on the twin sauna benches.

This was a complete bathroom makeover. The cabinets were all refinished, new sleek counter top and sinks. We took out a dated tub and built a beautiful walk in shower with a bench seat at one end. This client wanted a little bling, so we put in a new crystal chandelier and sconces.

This was a redo of a River House - Now a Lake House on Lake Medina. It was originally built in 1906 as weekend house on the Medina River. Later the river dammed and it became a weekend lake house. In keeping with the overall look of the house we tiled this shower in black and white subway tiles and tiled the entire walls of the bathroom. We installed frameless glass shower. It went from a 1906 old tub to this clean and inviting bath. It was a fun project
