This traditional master bath designed by Curtis Lumber Company is sophisticated with lots of luxurious details. Merillat Masterpiece cabinets, with Harmond door style, provide the homeowners with plenty of storage space. The built-in window seat includes drawers and is a convenient place to sit while getting dressed. Hardware by Amerock from the Cyprus Collection in Satin Nickel contrasts beautiful against the Cherry Molasses finish on the cabinetry. Dual vanities, topped with engineered quartz from Cambria in Ironsbridge, are amply spaced to provide plenty of room for the couple to get ready at the same time. The custom walk-in shower, with earthy slabs of Sardinia porcelain tile from Happy Floors in Brown, features a handy built-in bench and niche for necessities. This tile is warm and welcoming, and also covers the bathroom floor for a seamless look. Daltile Cascading Waters mosaic tile in Brook Crest accents the shower and lines the niche. The shower floor tile is also from Daltile. The ModulR frameless shower door, with Brushed Nickel accents, from the MAAX Collection Series lends an elegant and modern look to this traditional bathroom. Faucet and shower fixtures are from the Delta Dryden Collection. Lighting is by ELK Group International, from the Ensley Collection in Satin Nickel.

The 7' x 42" roll-in shower is barrier free, and spacious enough to accommodate a caretaker tending to an elderly bather. Shampoo shelves made by the tile installer are incorporated into the liner trim tiles. The herringbone mosaic tiles on the shower border and floor update the traditional elements of the rest of the bath, as does the leather finish countertop. Budget savers included purchasing the tile and prefab countertops at a store close-out sale, and using white IKEA cabinets throughout. Using a hand-held shower on a bracket eliminated the need for a second stationary showerhead and diverter, saving on plumbing costs, as well.

One of two guest bedrooms, this room features more sleeping space, with custom doors (in place of existing bi-fold doors) that allow the closet to function better and a bonus door that blends into the design, while providing access to another basement necessity - the water shutoff.

The homeowner is a retired professional and a passionate home chef who desired to have the finest in luxury appliances. They interviewed several large design build firms that just didnt listen to them. After approaching our company they discovered we were a perfect fit as we listened to their specific remodeling needs and were not concerned about making the sale. This couple entertains large crowds of people and their kitchen was tiny and outdated for their needs. We opened up the wall between the kitchen and dining room, removed an awkward drop ceiling, added square footage to the kitchen and dining room spaces. Finally adding exterior sliding door with a La Cantina Bi-Fold door. We moved and installed a new sink window at the wall between the kitchen and dining room. The new configuration allowed for more working area as well as much needed additional kitchen storage. An integrated flush Subzero Refrigerator and Freezer are the perfect for this home owners entertaining needs. The island features a Miele Range with and island sink, the second sink is a necessity for this Chef. The details are not overlooked in the cabinetry with the beveled door by Ovation Cabinetry available exclusively at Signature Designs Kitchen Bath in San Diego.

The butler's pantry was a necessity with the lack of upper storage space in the main kitchen. This compact space makes up for it all in spades! Glass uppers with under cabinet lighting, a bar sink, ice maker, and storage drawers below provide ample storage for dishes and pantry items.

Our client had been living in her beautiful lakeside retreat for about 3 years. All around were stunning views of the lake and mountains, but the view from inside was minimal. It felt dark and closed off from the gorgeous waterfront mere feet away. She desired a bigger kitchen, natural light, and a contemporary look. Referred to JRP by a subcontractor our client walked into the showroom one day, took one look at the modern kitchen in our design center, and was inspired! After talking about the frustrations of dark spaces and limitations when entertaining groups of friends, the homeowner and the JRP design team emerged with a new vision. Two walls between the living room and kitchen would be eliminated and structural revisions were needed for a common wall shared a wall with a neighbor. With the wall removals and the addition of multiple slider doors, the main level now has an open layout. Everything in the home went from dark to luminous as sunlight could now bounce off white walls to illuminate both spaces. Our aim was to create a beautiful modern kitchen which fused the necessities of a functional space with the elegant form of the contemporary aesthetic. The kitchen playfully mixes frameless white upper with horizontal grain oak lower cabinets and a fun diagonal white tile backsplash. Gorgeous grey Cambria quartz with white veining meets them both in the middle. The large island with integrated barstool area makes it functional and a great entertaining space. The master bedroom received a mini facelift as well. White never fails to give your bedroom a timeless look. The beautiful, bright marble shower shows what's possible when mixing tile shape, size, and color. The homeowner was eager to update her dated kitchen into a modern yet functional space for both entertaining and cooking. The DEANE team worked to deliver a sophisticated, industrial vibe, leveraging unique materials and memorable accessories. The kitchen was outfitted with the full suite of SubZero/Wolf appliances and accessories to create a true chef’s kitchen for this family of six. The 48” range with griddle was a necessity, in addition to a convection oven, steam oven, and warming drawer. The decision was made to dedicate a refrigerator column to beverages with an independent ice maker by the beverage bar. The white powder-coated convex hood is accented with polished stainless steel metal strapping. It is flanked by cabinetry columns with integrated LED lighting on either side, which have been recessed into the wall, projecting slightly to feel like professional displays. Satin stainless steel drawer fronts with polished trim for dramatic effect shine on the lower cabinetry on the cooking wall as well as the display and upper cabinetry on the opposite wall, adding a mix of transitional white cabinetry for warmth and variety. The backsplash is a 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 ceramic tile installed in a contemporary ‘stacked’ pattern, balanced by Calacatta quartz countertops. A finishing touch was to replace wood floors with 2×2 ft porcelain tiles that are warmed by radiant heat.

The aesthetic of the house was heavily influenced by Spanish and Mediterranean architecture, with an emphasis on warmth and connectivity with outdoor living. The home features many traditional Tuscan characteristics ranging from the smooth stucco to rustic clay roof tiles and ornate details. The home celebrates the colors and textures of Europe with an inviting mix of aged patinas, rich distressed wood, and open outdoor pool cabana. The design of the house is oriented toward the West Cuesta Ridge in the distance and can be seen throughout the house through the large window and doors.
