We designed storage elsewhere in the basement to take care of the clutter and drew up the plans for the new wine cellar. We recommended a combination of custom wood and steel bottle holders with wonderful display racks and counters. The wine cellar is temperature and humidity controlled for optimal conservation. We recommended artwork and vineyard maps in keeping with the theme. The wine cellar is functional and inviting, just what the client requested.

This full property landscape design and build presented Pro-Land with the opportunity to creatively work with existing grades, while considering the restrictions of an abutting conservation authority. Keeping this in mind we were able to optimize the views of the greenery around the property, while creating a functional outdoor entertainment area.
The client wanted a classic design for the front; flagstone walkways to tie in with the colors from the house and an entry wall frames the front door. The goal in the backyard was to create various areas for entertaining, without sacrificing play spaces for their children – the size of the property made accommodating their wishes fairly easy. A sports court, pool with water feature, cabana, and outdoor kitchen ensure these homeowners don’t have to go far for their next vacation.

Located in the heart of Montreal, Binôme is an architectural urban densification project built by Modulor. Composed of two distinct buildings connected by an inner courtyard, this new five-unit development stands out through its unique layout, architecture, and exceptional attention to detail. The construction required rigorous planning and precise technical execution, particularly due to major excavation work and underpinning of adjacent buildings. Such interventions in a dense urban environment demand specialized expertise and tight project management at every phase of the build.
Conceived as an income-generating property, the clients benefited from our strategic support to ensure the profitability, efficiency, and optimization of their investment. Modulor worked closely with the team at Appareil Architecture to bring to life a project of high architectural integrity.
Binôme’s architecture draws inspiration from the area's industrial past: clean volumes, red brick, generous openings reminiscent of former workshops, and elegant brick colonnades form a refined and cohesive ensemble. The central courtyard, designed as a luminous and welcoming shared space, becomes the vibrant heart of the project. A colorful metal staircase, crafted by Atomic Soudure, connects both buildings and adds a distinctive, curated touch.
As a finalist for the 2025 Ordre des architectes du Québec Awards of Excellence, Binôme stands as a model of successful urban revitalization. It illustrates how thoughtful, well-executed construction can elevate Montreal’s built environment while addressing today’s densification challenges.

Total Kitchen Transformation
In this comprehensive kitchen makeover, we revitalized the entire space from floor to ceiling, creating a modern and inviting environment that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic beauty.
Flooring and Ceiling
We began by installing new tile flooring, providing a resilient and stylish foundation for the kitchen. The ceiling was refreshed to ensure a cohesive and polished look throughout the space.
Painting and Cabinetry
Freshly painted walls harmonize with the new design elements, enhancing the overall ambiance. We installed European-style pale-pine cabinets, adding a touch of sophistication and brightness. Additionally, a new peninsula featuring a waterfall-edge countertop serves as a striking focal point and offers extra workspace.
Countertops and Backsplash
Apollo quartz countertops were installed, offering a sleek and durable surface for all culinary activities. The backsplash was updated to complement the countertops, enhancing the overall aesthetic while ensuring easy maintenance.
Lighting Enhancements
The lighting upgrades are both functional and decorative. Under-cabinet lighting enhances visibility and highlights the new cabinetry and countertops. Elegant pendant lights above the peninsula create a focal point and provide ambient lighting, adding sophistication to the area. New LED recessed lighting in the ceiling ensures the entire space is brightly illuminated, offering energy-efficient, high-quality light for everyday activities.
Plumbing & Electrical
We upgraded the plumbing system, including the installation of a new sink, to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The electrical systems were also updated to support the new lighting and appliances in the kitchen area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
This kitchen transformation showcases a harmonious blend of modern design and practical upgrades, resulting in a space that is both beautiful and highly functional. The thoughtful selection of materials and finishes, combined with quality craftsmanship, has created a kitchen that is sure to be the heart of the home.

After the success of their master bathroom renovation, Mila and Rodney reached out to us once again, this time to tackle their guest bathroom.
During the planning and design phase, we worked closely with them to understand their needs for a family-friendly yet stylish space. We started by assessing the current layout, functionality issues, and their vision.
We began by removing the outdated vanity, cabinets, countertops, and lighting, then installed a new 82” cabinet with two sinks and paired with Maxwell 8" brushed nickel faucets for a modern, timeless look.
Kengston brushed nickel mirrors were hung vertically, with Kawoti 3-light vanity lights installed above, centered for optimal brightness.
The shower and bathtub area were gutted, removing the old tub. A new 30" white Wyndham Grayley bathtub with brushed nickel trim was installed, along with Themar Statuario V Matte 12x24" tiles on the shower wall.
To further elevate the design, we added a large recessed shower niche, tiled with a coordinating Statuario V Matte 2x2 Hex tile. Finally, sliding glass doors were installed, creating a more open and accessible shower area.
Mila & Rodney now have a refreshed guest bathroom that blends style, functionality, and durability—creating a space they will enjoy for years to come.
