This early 2000s Cherry Kitchen needed updated and rearranged to work better for the client's needs. The outcome is an inviting two-tone kitchen with large island and wood hood. This gorgeous kitchen features Omega cabinetry, Cambria Countertops and tile backsplash.

The backyard in this Dunwoody, GA residence presented several challenges, including failing cinder block walls, unsafe steps, and an aging deck. These issues rendered the space largely unusable and created drainage problems, limiting both safety and functionality for the homeowners. Our team addressed these issues by removing all existing structures and undertaking a comprehensive rebuild. This involved regrading the area for proper drainage, constructing new retaining walls, and installing integrated steps for safe access throughout the yard. Multiple paver patios were also installed to create defined entertaining areas. The outcome is a safe and highly functional outdoor living space in Dunwoody. The new retaining walls provide essential structural support, the drainage system manages stormwater effectively, and the integrated patios and walkways offer inviting areas for recreation and access.

Designed by Evan Nicely of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Bethesda MD, this kitchen & bar remodel features the Ultracraft Cabinetry Marshall door style in two finishes. The pantry cabinet area features an Artic White finish. The u-shape area of the kitchen and the bar area design features base cabinets in Perle Noir, a Sherwin Williams custom paint color. The countertops in both areas feature both White Carrara Marble and Teak Butcher block. KitchenAid appliances, highlighted by a Pro Style Range in Passion Red, are featured in the kitchen. The couple desired to fully utilize their unused attic area in their house, which was built in the 1950’s with a story and a half layout. To make the most of the available square footage, they opted to construct a full shed dormer along the house’s rear side. They devised a detailed plan to transform this space into a functional area with different uses. This included an office for work-related tasks, a 3/4 bathroom for convenience, and a sizable family room. This room was designed to cater to their hobbies like listening to records and storage, indulging in good books, and unwinding in a relaxed setting. The space was also equipped with a gas stove, adding a cozy feel and a touch of vintage style. Being plant enthusiasts, the couple wanted to ensure enough sunlight to nourish their indoor greens. Hence, numerous windows and skylights were thoughtfully added to invite natural light. The new space is a true reflection of the couple’s personality, with its unique finishes and style that echo their fondness for mid-century designs. The outcome is a vibrant, neat, and entertaining area where the couple, along with their pets, can relish for many more years to come.

A special LEICHT Westchester | Greenwich project. Located in Chappaqua, Westchester County, NY. this beautiful project was done in two phases, guest house first and then the main house. In the main house, we did the kitchen and butler pantry, living area and bar, laundry room; master bathroom and master closet, three bathrooms. In the guest house, we did the kitchen and bar; laundry; guest bath and master bath. All LEICHT. Our clients wanted a bigger kitchen to entertain family and friends. They also wanted to spend time outdoors, therefore our designer incorporated a screen porch to the design adjacent to the kitchen area. Natural light was another important request on their wish list, so our designer added large windows with a bench for sitting area which created a relaxing atmosphere in the room. Our client’s last request was to have a small workshop to work on his custom furniture, we extended the basement along with the first floor which provided enough room to work on. After about a decade of weathering on this Roswell, GA deck, the homeowners decided it was time for some upgrades. We resurfaced the deck using beautiful Timbertech products. 2013 NARI Capital CotY, Merit Award Winner, Creative Solutions under $15,000 Objective: This couple was tired of the old brick look of their family room and its embedded fireplace. They wanted to uplift the entire room, with better lighting, updated built ins and new gas log fireplace. Challenges: It was not an easy task to get rid of all masonry and brick wall. Gas lines and powder line were quite distance away and the family room floor was a concrete slab. Design solutions: It was important for the couple to create an optional separation between the family room and the kitchen for times that she is having her book club gang over and husband wanted to watch his sporting events. Part of the wall between kitchen and family room was taken by a closet. We have removed that entire wall and implemented a 6” wide Barn door for a partial solution to their problem. New wiring for light and cable wires were running into the old masonry wall. Gas line gave the old wood burning fireplace and new life. Custom built in cabinetry was placed in place old masonry wall. A new stone hearth and surround wrapped around the new fireplace. New hardwood wide plank flooring gave this family room warmth. New recess lighting has offered a much brighter room. Outcome: He gets to enjoy his favorite football team beat up the rebels while she gets to have her tea party around the kitchen table. And in all other occasions they get to cuddle by the flames of a new fireplace.
