Modern Bedroom Design. Bedroom in downtown loft with NO windows! This was the challenge Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson faced when beginning this Denver Loft Remodel. Rebecca began by identifying the focal-point wall and addressing the overall dark feel of the room. She painted 3 walls a soft grey and one wall a dark navy blue. Rebecca applied her creative genius to the space by hanging nine beveled mirrors on the dark wall above the bed as a clever way to fool the eye into thinking the mirrors were windows. To further indulge the concept, Rebecca added crisp white linen panels to mimic window treatments on either side. This design idea created a dramatic symmetrical backdrop for the Bedroom furniture... A spectacular oversized blue and white rug (Aja Rugs) sets a perfect foundation for the queen size bed with two oversize nightstands in crisp white, the Bedroom was complete. A master bathroom is often a place of peace and solitude, made even richer with luxurious accents. This homeowner was hoping for a serene, spa like atmosphere with modern amenities. Dipped in gold, this bathroom embodies the definition of luxury. From the oversized shower enclosure, to the oval freestanding soaking tub and private restroom facility, this bathroom incorporates it all. The floor to ceiling white marble tile with gold veins is paired perfectly with a bronze mosaic feature wall behind the his and her vanity areas. The custom free-floating cabinetry continues from the vanities to a large make-up area featuring the same white marble countertops throughout. A touch of gold is seamlessly tied into the design to create sophisticated accents throughout the space. From the gold crystal chandelier, vibrant gold fixtures and cabinet hardware, and the simple gold mirrors, the accents help bring the vision to life and tie in the esthetics of the concept. This stunning white bathroom boasts of luxury and exceeded the homeowner’s expectations. It even included an automatic motorized drop-down television located in the ceiling, allowing the homeowner to relax and unwind after a long day, catching their favorite program.

A description of the homeowners and space from Linnzy, the Presidential Pools, Spas & Patio designer who worked on this project: "The homeowners can be described as an active family of three boys. They tend to host family and friends and wanted a space that could fill their large backyard and yet be functional for the kids and adults. The contemporary straight lines of the pool match the interior of the house giving them a resort feel in the very own backyard! The large pergola is a perfect area to cool off in the shade while enjoying a large outdoor kitchen as well as an oversized fire pit for the cooler nights and roasting marshmallows. They wanted a wow factor as the pool is the main focal point from the living room, and the oversized wall and rain sheer did the trick!"

Pineapple House designers replaced the client's old-school theater with a modernized configuration that includes polished walls, speakers hidden behind mesh grates, multi-levels with steps, oversized loungers and over-scale seating and a bar. Motorized drapery is integrated in the crown molding. When activated, the blue panels open and expose the 150” screen while simultaneously closing over the entrances into the room.
