The wall color is Sherwin Williams “Ancient Marble.” The floors are engineered hickory. The mantle is reclaimed cypress. The brick on the fireplace is Old Carolina “Savannah Gray.” The fireplace is scored tabby (stucco with oyster shells). The beams are made of pine with Minwax “Ipswitch Pine” stain. This project has been an amazing transformation. The photos simply do not do it justice. The 75 inch television and gas ribbon fireplace are placed on a background of oyster shell tile with a white grout and framed with a cantilevered top, floating shelves, and a floating mantle made from african Sapele. LED lighting sets off the tile, floating shelves and art niche, and can be dimmed to set the mood. A modern, high gloss floating media cabinet provides storage for components and has two drawers to hold all those small items.

Our homeowner wanted to replace her previous vent free gas fireplace. We were unable to install a vented fireplace in the space so she chose a Dimplex electric, linear fireplace, Cream Quartzite stone and Antique Beige granite hearth. We removed the old fireplace, surround, mantel and wood trim. Framed for the new fireplace. Installed the fireplace and stone panels. We worked in concert with the homeowner's AV contractor and completed the project in just a couple of days.

This home got a modern facelift with wide-plank wood flooring, custom fireplace and designer wallpaper bathroom. The basement was finished with a modern industrial design that includes barn wood, black steel rods, and gray cabinets.

This home was formerly a dorm for Phillips Academy, and unfortunately had been completely stripped of all of its interior molding and details as it was converted to house more students over the years. We took this home down to the exterior masonry block shell, and rebuilt a new home within the existing structure. After rebuilding the original footprint of most of the rooms, we then added all the traditional elements one would have hoped to find inside this magnificent home.

Fun accents such as a ball of oyster shells and a striped pom-pom throw bring a fun and relaxed lakeside design.
