Taking on this pre-war building renovation was the ultimate design challenge. We combined two units into one massive home. By moving the dining table into the great room, we were able to double the size of the kitchen, allowing for a large island in the center of the space. The wolf range topped with a custom hood was on the utilitary side of the kitchen, next the the shaws sink and House of Rohl faucet. The Calacatta Paonazzo marble from Artistic tile in a honed finished continued from the counters to the backsplash and floating shelf, serving the wow factor this light kitchen deserved. On the opposite wall, floor to ceiling custom cabinetry housed a coffee station and ample storage. There’s even a reading nook window seat, perfect for morning coffee. The two glass blown pendants from Gabriel Scott float on top of the island while the Hudson Valley sconces illuminate the marble shelf. Lead designer, Stevi Fourouli added the final touch by painting lime-wash on the walls to accentuate the old-world feeling of this building.

Trophy Club Rustic Glam, to us, concerned achieving the modern look they wanted for their home that was traditional in nature with heavy rustic features. With a few pieces already in place including a contemporary curved sofa and metallic silver breakfast nook table, we used that starting point to begin interjecting the right amount of modern touches that would balance the rustic and reach the wow factor end result desired. One important change was updating the light fixtures with bold statements that transition the new look throughout. Luxurious window treatments also aided in calming down the rustic woods. We especially enjoyed a unique room project; The bonus wine room attached to the Kitchen was always a challenge for the homeowners to find the right functionality. The new high top bar and low profile stools, along with a customized wine barrel-top table and "corkscrew" bar stools made for the perfect layout to entertain. Metallic wallpaper on the walls and zebra-print on the ceiling contrasted against the thick stone. These features as well as the custom wine racks and grapevine-esque crystal light fixture created a cozy and exciting place to lounge in their very own wine country. We just loved the end result and the homeowners couldn't believe the big reveal transformation.

Built in 1896, the original site of the Baldwin Piano warehouse was transformed into several turn-of-the-century residential spaces in the heart of Downtown Denver. The building is the last remaining structure in Downtown Denver with a cast-iron facade. HouseHome was invited to take on a poorly designed loft and transform it into a luxury Airbnb rental. Since this building has such a dense history, it was our mission to bring the focus back onto the unique features, such as the original brick, large windows, and unique architecture.
Our client wanted the space to be transformed into a luxury, unique Airbnb for world travelers and tourists hoping to experience the history and art of the Denver scene. We went with a modern, clean-lined design with warm brick, moody black tones, and pops of green and white, all tied together with metal accents. The high-contrast black ceiling is the wow factor in this design, pushing the envelope to create a completely unique space. Other added elements in this loft are the modern, high-gloss kitchen cabinetry, the concrete tile backsplash, and the unique multi-use space in the Living Room. Truly a dream rental that perfectly encapsulates the trendy, historical personality of the Denver area.

Durability and design are the most important components of every entry door. It is our goal to ensure that our clients do not have to compromise on either of these elements. Our Aluminum clad entry door line offers top of the line safety features that will not only perform beautifully but will have a visually pleasing appearance. This project is located along the lake on the North Shore of Chicago. It was important to provide a door that was aesthetically pleasing and complementary to this modern style home, but to also craft a product that can withstand below zero temperatures and direct sunlight. The duality of this product results in a perfectly secure and insulated entrance.
Durability of Aluminum Clad Entry Doors
Besides the sleek design, our aluminum clad entry door’s have a larger purpose. The durability of our aluminum shield product is unmatched. This shield is attached to our Euro-Tech door slab to ensure for sound insulation, and complete safety. With a thickness of 3-1/2”, our Aluminum Clad entry doors will protect your entryway from harsh elements, as well defend against damage from exposure to direct sunlight. These factors can create wear and tear on solid wood materials and causes aging to the surface. The aluminum shield is a barrier between the exterior elements, and the interior climate. Each aluminum shield has a powder coat finish and is available in any custom color. One feature that is important to note, is that this combination of our Euro-Technology door, paired with the Aluron Shield, creates a very secure and safe entrance.
The Beauty of Glenview Haus’ Aluminum Clad Entry Door
Ideal for residences in Chicago and the North Shore; this door line is built to last and to create a fully
insulated entrance. Our aluminum clad entry doors are incredibly sleek and will appeal to all modern
design enthusiasts. Fully customizable, these doors are guaranteed to stand out. The simple and elegant designs are complementary to Modern and Transitional home architecture.

A large scale stairwell deserves attention too. The wood baluster & spindles of contrasting finishes are eye pleasing. The custom stair runner adds that final touch. This was the perfect space to create a photo wall for our clients, we added images that were important to our client, all of which were framed in identical frames & matting. The American Flag placed in the center added that last wow factor.

The front entry to this Victorian home was not impressive. The homeowner wanted a "wow" factor. The stenciling on the staircase with the rubber treads was a fun twist but did not go with the new style the client wanted to create. The goal was to make this entry more inviting and to emphasize the Victorian charm.
The design started with a fresh coat of bright, warm, white paint. The Damask Wallpaper was used to emphasize the Victorian charm and draw you into the home. The stair risers were also stenciled with a pattern that coordinated with the wallpaper and also emphasized the staircase.
A neutral, light tone was selected because this area of the home did not experience much natural light throughout the day. The large bookcase was removed because it was too heavy and did not create the right aesthetic balance. This was replaced with a small bench and given an eclectic vibe with patterned and textured textiles - pillows.
The front entry table was a perfect find at an antique shop and the artwork print by William-Adolphe Bouguereau painted in 1890 which is reminiscent of the age of the home.

Eco Tec pavers make a perfect green driveway alternative. These pavers are set in such a way as to allow rain water to be captured then absorbed into the surrounding area. This type of paving reduces ground water runoff and increases the green factor of your home.

We designed our Newbury plan to blend seamlessly into its neighborhood. A home that invites you to sit on the front porch and chat with your neighbors. Thoughtful details like oversized front windows that seamlessly blend the glass front door into it, paired with wood accents, creating a stunning focal point that’s both warm and modern.
Painted in Benjamin Moore’s Olympic Mountains with accents in Fairview Taupe, this exterior strikes the perfect balance between timeless charm and architectural wow factor.

This vibrant half bath powder room makes a bold statement with rich terracotta orange walls that create a warm dramatic glow perfect for a cozy intimate space. The striking black and white patterned encaustic cement tile floor features an intricate geometric floral motif with ivy accents adding timeless elegance and visual interest underfoot. A charming sloped ceiling enhances the tucked away feel ideal for under stair or hallway locations while a crisp white ornate vanity cabinet with delicate curves and black ornate hardware pairs beautifully with a scalloped gothic arch mirror reflecting soft warm light from elegant gold accented wall sconces. Matte black faucets and hardware ground the look against the marble topped sink and subtle gray baseboard trim completing this fun yet sophisticated guest bath transformation. This colorful powder room design showcases how daring color and classic tile can turn a small half bath into an unforgettable wow factor space inspiring bold remodels and statement interiors.

Incorporating Ikat Pillows in Home Decor
When it comes to home decor, every detail counts and the right throw pillows can make all the difference in creating a cohesive and inviting space. Silk Ikat Pillows are a popular choice for their unique and intricate patterns and luxurious texture. However, there are some essential factors to consider when selecting the perfect Silk Ikat Pillows for your sofa.

When it comes to small spaces every inch counts! The key to making them work is to think of traffic flow, and how you’re going to arrange furniture for ease of access and comfort. This gives credence to the form over function motto!
For this project we knew we were expanding the indoor outdoor flow by removing a wall of the house, creating a pocket door, so the interior living room was going to merge perfectly with the new exterior living room.
The first element of the design we worked out was a built-in Banco seating around a central fire pit, with cushions and exterior fabrics, that even has a one piece cover that can snap in place. This will protect the fabrics in place while the couple travels, without having to drag them through the house to the garage for storage.
The second critical factor of the design was implementing an outdoor kitchen just off camera, built-in to a patio Column, so that it becomes a serving bar and the appliances are behind the bar not out in the public space.
Across the water, the vanishing edge spa was the visual draw, reflecting a fruitless olive tree, all enjoyed from the fire pit seating area.
The back edge of the pool features a knife edge tile to granite interface without a coping, to minimize the line between water and landscape.
Last but not least, the sweeping arc curvature of the pools leading edge was done so as to ease traffic flow from the entertaining and fire seating area to the spa, and to soften the otherwise rectangular lines of the yard.

Emily and Steve have remodeled several pieces of their home and because they love Kaufman’s process so much, they keep coming back. In past years, we’ve remodeled most of their main floor including an updated living space and staircase, and a completely remodeled powder room and kitchen with a nice big island that’s perfect for entertaining. Their most recent project was this year when we remodeled their deck. The major pain points Steve and Emily dealt with before the remodel was lack of functionality due to poor design and because the previous owners had built the deck themselves, there were quite a few safety concerns. Throughout the design process, we decided to remove the existing deck completely and start fresh with a screened in porch, Emily’s Porch, and a deck off the porch with stairs going down to the beautiful backyard – one of the factors that motivated them to make this house their home to begin with.

We worked alongside ACG Architects and accessible kitchen design specialist, Adam Thomas to create this stunning wheelchair-accessible kitchen so our client could prepare, cook and serve meals for her family independently.
We designed this kitchen to have three different heights to enable our client and family to prepare and cook food easily. For example, the accessible worktop with a custom-made sink was made to be 870mm - the perfect height for a wheelchair user.
Other key features in this design include wheelchair level ovens with tray slides that sit directly under two Neff Slide & Glide ovens, a Neff Steamer and a Microwave, so hot oven trays can be moved easily across each tray slide.
A pull-out shelf allows for food/trays to be moved easily to the worktop level that was designed to be lower than standard for wheel-chair use. In front of the hob, there is also a protective lip at the edge of the worktop to stop a pan from boiling over onto the floor, or onto the client's lap.
A stone sink was also custom made by Cosentino, so it wasn’t too deep for our client to reach into.
The architects included wood slatting across the entire ground floor that creating a stunning feature in the kitchen space. Each slat was designed to run with precision over the door units - there were also toasters and pull-out drawers hidden behind this area which were designed to be isolated from the power when the doors were closed.
Mixing different materials and textures in a kitchen space created interest and contrast. The striking mix of the stained wood slatting, Graphite Grey cabinetry and durable Dekton Keon worktops in this collaborative kitchen design creates a real wow factor.
This kitchen design works for each family member with varying needs and heights so that it is a space that allows for the whole family to enjoy and create memories together.
