This existing client reached out to MMI Design for help shortly after the flood waters of Harvey subsided. Her home was ravaged by 5 feet of water throughout the first floor. What had been this client's long-term dream renovation became a reality, turning the nightmare of Harvey's wrath into one of the loveliest homes designed to date by MMI. We led the team to transform this home into a showplace. Our work included a complete redesign of her kitchen and family room, master bathroom, two powders, butler's pantry, and a large living room. MMI designed all millwork and cabinetry, adjusted the floor plans in various rooms, and assisted the client with all material specifications and furnishings selections. Returning these clients to their beautiful '"new" home is one of MMI's proudest moments!

The bathroom in this house was putting buyers off, with a simple change of wall color, updated vanity unit and tiling we created the perfect master bathroom retreat

The kitchen was created in Lafontaine door style in Maple wood type finished in Marshmallow Cream with inset door in Maple wood type finished with custom stain. The kitchen was created with optional five-piece drawer headers. The kitchen was designed by Mike McNally of Builders Cabinet Supply and Kristin Petro of Kristin Petro Interiors, Elmhurst IL.

KITCHEN: This open floor plan kitchen is a mix of materials in a modern industrial style. The back L portion is black painted wood veneer with dark stainless steel bridge handles with matching dark stainless countertop and toe kick. The island is a natural ruxe wood veneer with dark stainless steel integrated handles with matching toe kick. The counter top on the island is a honed black quartz. Integrated Miele refrigerator/freezer and built in coffee maker.
