These interiors reflect the sandy Florida coast through a white and cream color scheme. The kitchen sparkles with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, white painted and mirrored cabinetry, walls of polished lacquer, and a massive granite island that spills over the top and down its sides. The two unique light fixtures are fabricated from quartz and are crown jewels in the space.

In this living room in a lake house renovation, Pineapple House replaces its old, low, painted trusses with stained, hickory trusses. They change the rooms' sheetrock walls into 10” nickel-joint wood walls and add transoms over the sliding glass doors to gain light and height. They cover the fireplace surround with stained wood and gain height by running the stained planks all the way up the 20’ shaft. On the left of fireplace, they add 8’ tall, double wooden doors and create a new entry into the master . On the right of fireplace, they balance the new master doors with a built-in audio-visual cabinet with wire mesh door fronts.

Pineapple House creates style and drama using contrasting bold colors -- primarily midnight black with snow white, set upon dark hardwood floors. Upon entry, an inviting conversation area consisting of four over-sized swivel chairs upholstered in taupe mohair surround the parlor's white painted brick fireplace. Their electronics and entertainment center are hidden in two washed oak cabinets.

Although our offices are based in different states, after working with a luxury builder on high-end waterfront residences, he asked us to help build his personal home. In addition to décor, we specify the materials and patterns on every floor, wall and ceiling to create a showcase residence that serves as both his family’s dream home and a show house for potential clients. Both husband and wife are Florida natives and asked that we draw inspiration for the design from the nearby ocean, but with a clean, modern twist, and to avoid being too obviously coastal or beach themed. The result is a blend of modern and subtly coastal elements, contrasting cool and warm tones throughout, and adding in different shades of blue.

The Master bath shifts the focus from the ceiling to the floor with a modern starburst mosaic, while the large double-sided shower is clad in white marble slabs for a sleek look. Its centrally positioned sculptural soaking tub backs up to a knee wall.

The master bedroom is a symphony of textures and patterns with its horizontal banded walls, hexagonal ceiling design, and furnishings that include a sunburst inlaid bone chest, star bamboo silk rug and quatrefoil sheers.

The goal of this master bath transformation was to stay within existing footprint and improve the look, storage and functionality of the master bath. Right Wall: Along the right wall, designers gain footage and enlarge both the shower and water closet by replacing the existing tub and outdated surround with a freestanding Roman soaking tub. They use glass shower walls so natural light can illuminate the formerly dark, enclosed corner shower. From the footage gained from the tub area, designers add a toiletry closet in the water closet. They integrate the room's trim and window's valance to conceal a dropdown privacy shade over the leaded glass window behind the tub. Left Wall: A sink area originally located along the back wall is reconfigured into a symmetrical double-sink vanity along the left wall. Both sink mirrors are flanked by shelves of storage hidden behind tall, slender doors that are configured in the vanity to mimic columns. Back Wall: The back wall unit is built for storage and display, plus it houses a television that intentionally blends into the deep coloration of the millwork. The positioning of the television allows it to be watched from multiple vantage points – even from the shower. An under counter refrigerator is located in the lower left portion of unit.

His-and-her zones in the master bath hold separate water closets and light-stained oak vanities with louvered drawer fronts, giving a coastal nod and balancing the more formal, modern elements. In the no-threshold shower, the knee wall supports a floating bench and two toiletry niches for supplies.
