The owner decided to repaint the living area and replace the carpet at the same time as the bathroom and entry area project. Wall paper was removed, fresh paint, and a much lighter carpet color really refreshed the space.

This 1950's bath was still original. The owner wanted to brighten it, remove the tub and make a large walk in shower, and add laundry capability on the main floor. A small entry closet on the same wall was closed off and repurposed into the bath for the stacked laundry. The bath looks fantastic, modern and updated, yet it is still very true to the vintage of the house. This photo shows the wall where the entry closet was removed.

Engineered cedar siding creates beautiful gray-blue tones at the exterior of the home, while adding a textural element to activate the simple exterior design.
