A live edge wood counter top, along with burano granite appealed to the slightly rustic side of the homeowners, while the galvanized metal , open ceiling and plumbing pipe shelving brings in an industrial vibe. We think it all works nicely together.

This Washington DC interior design project features two beautifully distinct dining spaces, each telling its own design story within the same residence. The first dining room commands attention with forest green velvet seating, a dramatic black fluted pedestal table, a brass and glass bubble chandelier, and a large-scale abstract gold artwork flanked by floor-to-ceiling olive drapery, a masterclass in luxe, color-driven transitional dining room design. The second dining space leans into refined elegance, cool grey walls, a glass-top round table, plush white velvet chairs, a cascading silver globe chandelier, and a sculptural silver wall installation paired with a custom lit built-in bookcase. Together, these spaces demonstrate how thoughtful residential interior design can create cohesion across an entire home without sacrificing individuality in each room.

When our clients approached us to renovate their 1950s Newfoundland home, their goal was to modernize while reflecting both their West Coast roots and current East Coast lifestyle. What began as a simple ensuite repair expanded into a full home transformation, completed in two thoughtfully phased renovations. Drawing from our cross-coastal experience—and a personal connection to the home’s past—we blended classic East Coast charm with West Coast simplicity. From reworking the layout and finishes to integrating their art collection and layering in warm, tactile materials, every detail was designed to feel cohesive, inviting, and deeply personal.

The red oak used for the floor throughout this traditional home was responsibly harvested, custom milled using state-of-the-art machinery, hand-graded and tailored to the homeowner's specifications. Drive Brand Studio/Bruce Luetters

This thoughtfully curated residence blends coastal charm with playful sophistication, where every room tells a story. From imaginative wallpapers and sculptural lighting to rich textures and bold tilework, the home celebrates creativity and comfort in equal measure. A seamless fusion of elegance and eccentricity, it invites both wonder and ease at every turn.
