This VIP Design Day project transformed two key spaces in a DC-area home — a dining room and powder room — into rooms that feel both curated and livable. The dining room balances warm walnut tones, mixed seating, and bold artwork against moody gray walls and classic wainscoting, creating a space that's elegant without being precious. The powder room makes a strong first impression with floor-to-ceiling botanical wallpaper, a navy reeded vanity, Calacatta marble countertop, and antique brass fixtures layered with vintage equestrian art. 100+ year old Claro Walnut Slab. This tree was fell (Late 90's) in Chico at the intersection of Spruce and West 6th. The natural form was maintained and preserved with a hand rubbed oil finish and contrasted with brushed stainless steel base. This is the longer part of a 16' slab made into a dining table (seats 10 to 12 people) measuring approximately: 11' x 4' x 30" .

This bright transitional dining room opens into a vaulted sunroom style living area, framed by walls of windows and sliding glass doors leading out to the deck. Almost every room in the house offers stunning views of the outdoor living space and golf course.
