"I want people to say 'Wow!' when they walk in to my house" This was our directive for this bachelor's newly purchased home. This Sitting room in the Entry creates quite the custom unique WOW factor! When the Owner came home at the end of our photo shoot day and saw all the art, flowers, pillows, and other finishing touches we had saved for the grand reveal, he sat in this space saying over and over "This is my favorite room! I'm going to sit here all day!" "This is my favorite room! I'm going to sit here all day every day!!" Thrilling words to a Design Team! This is why we do what we do!! We accomplished the mission by drafting plans for a significant remodel which included removing walls and columns, opening up the spaces between rooms to create better flow, then adding custom furnishings, drapes, lighting, and original art for a customized unique Wow factor! His Christmas party proved we had succeeded as each person 'wowed!' the spaces! Even more meaningful to us, as Designers, was watching everyone converse in the sitting area, dining room, living room, and around the grand island (12'-6" grand to be exact!) and genuinely enjoy all the fabulous, yet comfortable spaces. Success all around!

The entry is now opened after removing the extra closet, removing walls, and building cantilevered shelving. The linear lines of the front windows match the lines of the mantle and shelving. The living room is no longer boxed in and now provides a warm and comforting area for the family to watch TV. A quartersawn cherry mantle was built to reflect the soft wood tones in this living room space. The fireplace doors were updated in a nickel finish. LED up lighting can change by remote control based on the homeowner's mood or teams color during a sporting event.

After removing three walls and the hallway, this open floor plan keeps everyone connected to watch the big game while entertaining guests. A large island serves as a prep area, informal dining, or buffet line.

This breakfast cove is one of the homeowners' spots to enjoy their morning coffee while reading the news and watching the birds at the feeder. This intimate coved ceiling replaces an outdated, pitched, knotted pine one. Partial walls were also removed allowing the natural light to filter into the main level.

"After Photos" Dated track lighting was replaced with plenty of recessed lighting to ensure that there was plenty of light! The dated railing was removed and replace with a custom wooden island; providing additional seating for when watching the hocky game! This beach house was renovated to create an inviting escape for its owners’ as home away from home.
