The Cruiser Booth - this booth design was created and manufactured by BARSandBOOTHS. Upholstered in Ocean with Pink vinyl (since discontinued). This configuration provides comfortable seating for four.

This grand entryway was given a fresh coat of white paint, to modernize this classic farmhouse. The Moravian Star ceiling pendant was selected to reflect the compass inlay in the floor. Rustic farmhouse accents and pillows were selected to warm the space.

The client's home office also serves as a haven for her favorite aesthetic-- mid-century modern in a blue and orange palette. A fun preppy chinoiserie is the star of the show in this room, a custom chaise lounge serves as a reading nook for when she needs a break from her desk.
The walls and ceiling were painted in a complimentary pale blue tone and the trim in a bold navy.
The built-ins remain in fresh white, housing accessories, personal photos and books. An indoor/outdoor rug was placed here, in case someone sneaks in through the French doors from the hot tub outside. Live plants soak up the sun, while unique pendants illuminate the room in the evenings for a softly lit work environment.

Affectionately known as the “wood room,” this space celebrates its original pine paneling with a retro sensibility. Three seating areas—a game table, velvet chairs by the fireplace, and a tucked-away sectional—make it a hub for family life.

In great shape, the kitchen didn't need much once the client moved in, except to put some personal touches to warm the space. The light fixtures needed updating throughout the home, so that's where the focus was here. Charming murals grace the soaring walls, which we wanted to maintain. A coordinating color was selected to tone down the sponging effect on the walls, and they were painted in a solid eggshell finish to appeal to the client's more modern aesthetic. Classic lanterns and pendants were added to update this farmhouse kitchen. It's in the details.

This guest bathroom has a lovely vestibule, which I wanted to make comfortable for the client's guests to use as a space for freshening up, even if the water closet is occupied. We compromised on the client's tastes in this space, using the husband's prefered wallpaper in the vestibule and the wife's favorite in the water closet. The vestibule walls are covered in Cowtan & Tout paper-- a lovely cork with a ginko leaf pattern in a sophisticated metallic. A gold metallic tea paper was applied to the ceiling, to keep the space feeling elegant. A quirky ruffled taupe light fixture reflects gold glam. A woven raffia rug and black metal console carry us back to the farmhouse aesthetic, while the hexagon mirror is a premonition for the David Hick's mid century modern paper in the water closet beyond. Here, the mirror and lighting were updated, as well as the towel hardware, to blend the mid-century with the farmhouse style.
