The family living in this shingled roofed home on the Peninsula loves color and pattern. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. As a counterpoint, the open planned family, dining room, and kitchen have white walls. We selected a deep aubergine for the kitchen cabinetry. In the tranquil master suite, we layered celadon and sky blue while the daughters' room features pink, purple, and citrine.

The basement of this home has everything - candy bar, open theater room, pool table, air hockey table, 4 way television, and a full kitchen plus dining area. Barn wood on the candy bar is amazing. It also features a beer bottle chandelier! Custom made couches make the theater room cozy, functional and inviting!

This spacious bonus room loft features all things 'video game', and is inspired by "retro" Pac-Man. The ceiling was custom designed using flatstock, assembled and painted, with tremendous attention to detail.

A view of the beautifully landscaped grounds and cutting garden are on full display in this all purpose room for the family. When the client's decided to turn the living room into a game room, this space needed to step up. A small breakfast table was added to the corner next to the kitchen-- a great place to eat or do homework-- mixing the farmhouse and mid-century elements the client's love. A large sectional provides a comfortable space for the whole family to watch TV or hang out. Crypton fabric was used on this custom Kravet sectional to provide a no-worry environment, as well as indoor/outdoor rugs. Especially necessary since the sliders lead out to the dining and pool areas. The client's inherited collection of coastal trinkets adorns the console. Large basket weave pendants were added to the ceiling, and sconces added to the walls for an additional layer of light. The mural was maintained-- a nod to the bevy of birds dining on seeds in the feeders beyond the window. A fresh coat of white paint brightens up the woodwork and carries the same trim color throughout the house.

Another transitional hall area, is fitted with a pair of swivel chairs. Conveniently located beside the wetbar, it's a nice little nook to have a cocktail and conversation, off of the game room.

This home was built in 1960 and retains all of its original interiors. This photograph shows the formal dining room. The pieces you see are a mix of vintage and new. The basement is developed into a family activity area, with bookcase, games table, pool table, table tennis, foosball and built-in bar. A fully-equipped media room is located in an alcove adjacent to the play area. User-programmable LED lights accent the raised ceiling areas. The basement also incorporates a gym, guest bedroom, a large storage area/workshop and a wine cellar.
