Though this is a new house, the overall "look" is classic / vintage / timeless. We tried to design a bathroom that would not look dated in 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 yrs. Nothing trendy. Shaker cabinets (up on legs however... to look a bit more like furniture), subway tile floors and walls (basketweave pattern on floor, polished nickel Kohler fixtures, framless glass shower enclosure, free standing tub (updated version of the classic claw tub), big window for lots of natural light, big framed in mirror (10 ft wide) with integrated sconces... overhead rain shower... etc.
