Our clients had a very clear vision for what they wanted in a new home and hired our team to help them bring that dream to life. Their goal was to create a contemporary oasis. The main level consists of a courtyard, spa, master suite, kitchen, dining room, living areas, wet bar, large mudroom with ample coat storage, a small outdoor pool off the spa as well as a focal point entry and views of the lake. The second level has four bedrooms, two of which are suites, a third bathroom, a library/common area, outdoor deck and views of the lake, indoor courtyard and live roof. The home also boasts a lower level complete with a movie theater, bathroom, ping-pong/pool area, and home gym. The interior and exterior of the home utilizes clean lines and warm materials. The Home The Elbert, named after a Colorado fourteener, is designed in the modern farmhouse style with an open concept that creates a welcoming feeling. The two-story entry light compliments the incredible view of Pikes Peak. The main level includes a gourmet kitchen open to the great room, dining room and study. The master suite is an owner’s delight with a separate seating area that opens to a spa-like master bathroom. Moving up a level will reveal one of JS Homes’ specialties. Utilizing often overlooked space, we bring our East Coast influences to the Colorado Springs market by using the attic for additional living space without adding another floor. This results in higher roof lines and a majestic appearance. Two bedrooms, a bathroom and a bonus room will be a delight for the kids in the family. The ten-foot ceiling in the lower-level was designed with entertaining in mind. Two bedrooms, a shared bath and an exercise room complete the ensemble. Building within Flying Horse North, we were able to incorporate unique materials including stucco, barnwood, stone and pre-finished western red cedar. JS Homes is proud to present The Elbert. The Interior Design This Flying Horse North lot was a perfect setting for The Elbert, a modern farmhouse. From the moment you walk through the front door, your sightline is drawn to the incredible Pikes Peak view. We sought to capture the large space by blending a mix of different materials and textures. Superior craftsmanship incorporates a mixture of materials, from knotty alder and walnut on the main level, to hickory and quarter-sawn oak elsewhere, creating a rich and rewarding feel. Luxe granites complimented by beautiful tile work add depth and movement in many areas of the house — creating a refined feeling. Working with Jessica Brown of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, we designed a palette of colors, patterns and rich textures to enhance and compliment the interior finishes. A mixture of grays, blues and whites provides a timeless, fresh and family friendly environment that makes The Elbert a sanctuary for entertaining and relaxing.

Cove House is a contemporary shoreline sanctuary in the lake region of New Hampshire. The wooded property, which includes several accessory outbuildings and an existing guest cottage, makes up a private micro-cove. The new modern house and existing traditional cottage turn both toward the lake and to each other. Thoughtful siting and landscape architecture establish a connective flow between the two residences, with a notched stone courtyard in the house inviting visitors to go back and forth. Inspired by the craftsmanship of an antique mahogany powerboat, Cove House pursues architectural quality and beauty at the highest level. The design uses materiality, texture, and daylight to balance livability and artistry. The main entrance leads through a slot-canyon-like hall where a sequence of monumental granite walls reveals a glorious, light-filled living room. A steel moment frame spanning two levels imparts unobstructed panoramic views of the lake. The magnetism of the New Hampshire waterfront is equalized by a coordinated series of openings, which attune daylight throughout the interior. Large sliding glass doors and windows draw light through the courtyard and into the home’s core – a bright and lofty kitchen. Below the kitchen, a walkout patio illuminates a refined wine-tasting room­­. Near the front entry, a gracious granite and steel stair delivers daylight to each level though open risers and glass balustrades. Time to relax and enjoy the end of the day. We started with a blank basement and designed spaces for this client to enjoy for many years. The warm slate tile add sophistication and warmth. The gorgeous veining in the Fantasy brown counter tops add depth. Designing this space was fun and rewarding.

To the left see Mexican Flame Vine/ Pseudogynoxys chenopodioides, Senecio confusus, native from Mexico to Honduras. This home is so large we were able to use one of the flame vines to add a lovely colorful softening element. This is a great plant for beginners– very fast growing, drought resistant, seldom bothered by pests and minimum care is rewarded with impressive floral displays. Attractive to bees, butterflies and birds and one of the number one nectar plants for the Monarch Butterfly. Be mindful, this is a fairly rampant, warm climate climber and needs plenty of space to thrives it can twines up to 810 feet. Sporting thick evergreen leaves set against the charcoal gray stucco, both create wow contrast with brilliant red and orange flowers.

Every kitchen remodel is rewarding, but when we saw the skylights go in the new vaulted ceiling on this job it was a STUNNING improvement! So much spaciousness and natural light, we love it. Also featured are the fantastic custom cabinets, and new appliances. A better workflow, an island table for extra workspace and an improved view into the dining area were part of the project as well. The clients tell us that many days, they don't even turn the lights on until evening. LOVE it!

RCID was thrilled to design this stunning contemporary farmhouse in the prestigious community of Aspen Estates in Calgary. The vision was to create a home that seamlessly blends timeless character with modern refinement—a space that feels both inviting and elevated. This project was as rewarding as it was beautiful. Our clients were collaborative and visionary—truly engaged in the creative process. Together, we brought to life a home that reflects thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and the joy of shared inspiration. The Aspen Estates Contemporary Farmhouse stands as a testament to design that is both current and enduring.

Working with this couple for almost a decade has been so rewarding and fun! We recently updated their living area, master bath, guest bath and created a craft room in their former game room. The living area is classic and timeless, reflecting the homeowner's elevated level of taste, along with selective pops of color! The master bath exudes elegance with a spa-like soaking tub with sexy lines, a generous shower, and rich marbles in a unique rug pattern on the floor and backsplash. This timeless look will never get boring! The upstairs craft room was created for the optimal place for the homeowner to paint and create art with her grandchildren. The repurposed quarter-sawn wood top was hand selected and the table and cabinetry were custom designed and built to hold all of her essentials. Natural light from the sky light and windows keep this room always bright. The guest bath off of the craft area takes a twist on classic black and white, interpreted in a whimsical manner to keep things fun!

The first thing you notice about this property is the stunning views of the mountains, and our clients wanted to showcase this. We selected pieces that complement and highlight the scenery. Our clients were in love with their brown leather couches, so we knew we wanted to keep them from the beginning. This was the focal point for the selections in the living room, and we were able to create a cohesive, rustic, mountain-chic space. The home office was another critical part of the project as both clients work from home. We repurposed a handmade table that was made by the client’s family and used it as a double-sided desk. We painted the fireplace in a gorgeous green accent to make it pop. Finding the balance between statement pieces and statement views made this project a unique and incredibly rewarding experience. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo. Golden hour here at this 1940’s colonial that has been beautifully reimagined by its clever homeowners. Our design team sought to immerse this bold assertive structure in a native grasses heavy design featuring many coastal plain plants indigenous to this region. Animating, texturing and foregrounding with color and movement, this reactivated landscape looks like no other on this traditionally manicured, lawn-heavy street. Seedheads and silhouettes will continue to offer structure and interest through winter while rewarding non-migratory birds and wildlife with essential shelter and sustenance.

The art of Interior design is to give the Client there dream room. This most rewarding part is seeing the client pleased! This project consisted of floor plans, furniture selection, window treatments, wall treatment, lighting and accessories.

The Half Arc House, located in one of the most opulent skyscrapers in the heart of South Bombay, is rewarded with a stunning uninterrupted view of the Arabian sea on one end and the city on the other. The tower, complete with a lavish swimming pool and gym, captures the essence of luxury living. The Half Arc House is mindfully designed to magnify the luxury living experience. The selected furniture and furnishings are all sourced from Europe, from the most covetable brands in the world. Think Boca Do Lobo, Tom Dixon, Baxter, Serip, and Reflex Angelo, to name a few—all of which are unabashedly luxurious. These global luxury brands have been paired with indigenous local.

This was a big complicated layout of a house with really good bones....We originally were going to update the master bathroom and quickly there after ended up completely gutting the entire house and adding more square footage too. The client took a chance and was greatly rewarded. Their home has such a beautiful flow now.
