BARDOT SOFA: Like the fabulous French style icon for which our sofa is named, beautiful Bardot is a sensual mix of casual and elegant. Its extraordinary comfort comes from the plush bench seat; sink-in back cushions, and stylish bolsters that augment the slim shelter arms and make great headrests when reclining. MELROSE COCKTAIL TABLE: The best kind of glamour? The kind that looks effortless. Our Melrose Collection has it. This shimmering Art Deco-inspired rectangular cocktail table combines acrylic, polished stainless steel, and a clear-glass top and shelf. Note the distinctive clipped-corner detail. Keep this piece in mind for more compact quarters: Its see-through quality makes it appear to take up less space visually. Collection also includes a square cocktail table. ALSO SHOWN: Melrose side table, Aston Mosaic Mirrors, James wing chair, Delano table lamp

Find the right local pro for your project

Discover a luxurious, Mediterranean-inspired plunge pool tucked away within a private courtyard, creating an intimate and tranquil retreat.
This project features a cleverly designed, compact rectangular pool that maximizes the enjoyment of a secluded space. The warm, inviting turquoise water is beautifully framed by expansive, rich gold-toned natural stone coping and decking, which complements the home's terracotta roof and stucco facade.
The pool is anchored by a dramatic multi-tiered water feature wall, clad in rugged, stacked natural stone in earthy tones. This feature includes multiple flush scuppers that create a soothing, sheet-like cascade of water into the pool, adding a continuous element of serene sound and motion.
Integrated seamlessly into the design is a square, raised spa finished with shimmering mosaic tile, offering a distinct area for ultimate indulgence. Lush, vibrant greenery—including a towering screen of bamboo—provides natural texture and exceptional privacy, transforming this courtyard into a sophisticated and completely secluded oasis.

Irredescent blue and gold silk fabric with a beautiful shimmer, complimented this narrow

Every once in a while, a project comes along that doesn’t just meet expectations—it resets the standard. That’s exactly what happened at Upper Valley project, where the team at GoDesigns El Paso was entrusted with a blank canvas and turned it into a fully integrated luxury retreat, built with precision, purpose, and passion. At the core of this dream backyard is a custom-designed pool and spa, meticulously planned and built together. The pool glows with a Pebble Brilliance finish, its deep, vibrant tones shimmering under sunlight by day and glowing softly under water-lit skies at night. Lightstreams glass tile adds a jewelry-like elegance to the raised spa and the sun shelf, creating rich reflections and textures from every angle. That sundeck isn’t just for lounging—it’s a tactile, thoughtful experience. Designed with Lightstreams glass tile, it’s where kids play, grownups cool off, and everyone can dip their toes and soak their feet in style. It’s as inviting to walk across as it is to sit beside, offering both elegance and functionality. A standout design element is the set of custom stainless steel handrails, elegantly curved and installed with sculptural intent. Not only are they beautiful, but they’re also built to last—resistant to corrosion, timeless in design, and made for safety without sacrificing aesthetics. While beauty was key, so was resilience. The entire project was engineered to meet 100-year flood zone requirements—a critical design element in this El Paso neighborhood. GoDesigns accounted for water flow, elevations, and structural integrity, ensuring that every footing, drainage channel, and grade slope works in harmony with nature. And there’s more than water to love here. The oversized mossrock boulder waterfall along the edge of the putting green is both functional and artistic. Designed as a “table rock” feature, it creates soothing sound and visual movement while anchoring the landscape’s natural side. It’s a conversation piece as much as a sensory experience. Just steps away is a personal putting green and a custom basketball half court, both thoughtfully illuminated for day-to-night enjoyment. The putting green rolls true, edged with boulders and sand pits, while the court boasts pro-level surfacing under bright, architectural pole lighting. The surrounding landscape design ties it all together. Carefully chosen plantings bring color, texture, and balance to the clean stonework and turf areas. Strategic lighting highlights not just the beauty of the plants, but also enhances safety, drama, and ambiance across the entire yard—including the fence lines, water features, and sports zones. Every inch of this Upper Valley Project was built for purpose, performance, and passion. It’s a space where families gather, grand kids play, and memories are made—all under the sun and stars of West Texas. This is what happens when GoDesigns El Paso gets to do what they do best: combine timeless design, elite materials, and masterful installation to create outdoor living environments that are not only beautiful, but unforgettable.

My oldest daughter, Grace, is a "tween" and asked for her room to be redecorated. Previously it was bright colors of teal, pink and purple walls (which she picked when she was 4....now she is 12). I agreed that it needed a fresh start. Grace wanted her room to be less cluttered and more grown-up. First, she sorted, threw out and donated. Extra items that remained went in new under-the-bed storage containers. Second, I decided to work from her furniture colors. The pieces were purchased in the Netherlands during our time living in Germany. Gradations of "blush" were used throughout the room and in various textures. Next, Grace and I collaborated on selecting draperies, a rug and bedding. A complentary neutral paint color was then chosen. Finishing touches were placed in specific places to provide balance, such as the canvas artwork, which also adds a touch of shimmer. Glass lamps add harmony to the design. Grace is thrilled with her new room! (And with some smart shopping, cost-effecient!)

An ongoing trend in home design is evoking a luxurious hotel feel in the bedroom, and that’s exactly what these homeowners wanted for their master bedroom.
Because a bedroom is all about comfort, we curated an array of soft fabrics and a sophisticated palette of colours. The one-of-a-kind velvet bed is an elegant focal point for this space, and sits against chic graphic wallpaper. The colour blocked drapery also blocks out the world with black out lining, and a glamorous glass link light meld together to create a lush environment. We combined classic shapes, shimmer, texture, pattern and colour to develop a restful retreat.
The lucky people that get to rest their heads here can now sleep like they are on vacation every night.

The client had partially remodeled the home a few years prior but said the kitchen did not have the right feel. In addition, its functionality was stunted by the layout. The two large ovens were shoved in a corner and inhibited the use of the nearby drawer space. Colors of the kitchen all blended together in a wash of cream. The countertops were marble and showing wear. Ultimately the client wanted a more functional kitchen, updated appearance, easy to use and something they would feel reflected the warmth of their family.
Visually the new kitchen is stunning. It combines an old world feel with some modern twists. The custom stone hood and large stoves became a focal point in the kitchen. The antiqued red island softens the look of the stoves, compliments the moss tones of the ceiling beams and creates a warm touch in the heart of the kitchen.
Perimeter counters are made of leathered Taj-Mahal granite, and the island is polished Typhoon Bordeaux granite. Above the island are hand blown glass pendants that give a little shimmer and sparkle to the old world feel. The Arabesque style handmade ceramic backsplash pulls together the tones from the cabinets, countertops and ceiling.
As part of our environmentally conscious building, we used KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufactures Association) Environmental Stewardship Program certified cabinets and replaced all of the lighting with energy efficient lighting.
Outcome is warm, highly functional and inviting space for family and friends to gather.

The rest of the walls wrap around the room with a beige base covered in hand painted circles of rust, copper, gold, silver, bronze and plum metallic decorative paint dots.

For a client with a deep appreciation for all manner of architectural styles – and the passion to transform his lifelong dream of a single home showcasing their wide variety into reality – we were thrilled to meet the challenge. Consider the elements: an English conservatory-style kitchen. A Bahamian plantation-inspired bedroom. Florentine palazzos, Swiss chalets, Lowcountry fishing huts – all informed our journey from broad concept to unified, cohesive actuality. First and foremost a home meant to cosset and comfort an active family, it is also an elegant and gracious example of the many handcrafted arts too seldom seen. From custom ceiling treatments to hand-woven rugs, evidence of the artist’s hand abounds, imparting exquisite detail on virtually each and every surface. Nestled waterside along shimmering shores, this home is truly a dream come true – and proof the fanciful notions of the heart can indeed be transformed into functional living spaces that nurture, inspire, and satisfy the soul.

Importantly, the homeowners didn’t want their basement to function as a TV room, as they have a separate theater for movie watching. Rather, they wanted this space to facilitate conversation and provide room for games. So instead of adding a TV and a couch, we designed and built a comfortable, chic booth with shelving in a deep walnut tone. Also, to keep the booth cohesive with the rest of the house, we carried many of the same blue finishes from upstairs down to the basement. We love the lux tufted velvet on the seat and the shimmering wall treatment surrounding the booth.
