This wall contains many items including accessories, shoes, and athletic outfits. The least used items are placed inside zippered bins starting with the top rack and moving down to the second rack. The middle rack contains items such as scarves, hats and other accessories, finished by jewelry on the fourth rack. The drawers each contain underwear and socks, and the bottom shelf is reserved for sport shoes such as cleats and running sneakers.

This beautiful French Provincial home is set on 10 acres, nestled perfectly in the oak trees. The original home was built in 1974 and had two large additions added; a great room in 1990 and a main floor master suite in 2001. This was my dream project: a full gut renovation of the entire 4,300 square foot home! I contracted the project myself, and we finished the interior remodel in just six months. The exterior received complete attention as well. The 1970s mottled brown brick went white to completely transform the look from dated to classic French. Inside, walls were removed and doorways widened to create an open floor plan that functions so well for everyday living as well as entertaining. The white walls and white trim make everything new, fresh and bright. It is so rewarding to see something old transformed into something new, more beautiful and more functional.

This area really comes together by not drawing too much attention to one item, mixing species and colors really makes for a unique entrance into home.

The contemporary home is all about elegant metal accents. The entryway flaunts a medium-tone wood floor, which perfectly suits the gray walls and metal front door. The living room echoes the neutral palette with beige walls while the dining room flaunts a statement metal and glass chandelier. The look is complete with a carpeted master bedroom featuring dark wood furniture.

Our custom mudroom with this perfectly sized dog crate was created for the Homeowner's specific lifestyle, professionals who work all day, but love running and being in the outdoors during the off-hours. Closed pantry storage allows for a clean and classic look while holding everything needed for skiing, biking, running, and field hockey.

A new home can be beautiful, yet lack soul. For a family with exquisite taste, and a love of the artisan and bespoke, LiLu created a layered palette of furnishings that express each family member’s personality and values. One child, who loves Jackson Pollock, received a window seat from which to enjoy the ceiling’s lively splatter wallpaper. The other child, a young gentleman, has a navy tweed upholstered headboard and plaid club chair with leather ottoman. Elsewhere, sustainably sourced items have provenance and meaning, including a LiLu-designed powder-room vanity with marble top, a Dunes and Duchess table, Italian drapery with beautiful trimmings, Galbraith & Panel wallcoverings, and a bubble table. Inspiration for a cottage brick floor and red floor mudroom remodel with a white front door and beige walls

Envisioned as a country retreat for New York based clients, this collection of buildings was designed by MossCreek to meet the clients' wishes of using historical and antique structures. The owners of this home came to us with a plan to build a new high-performance home that physically and aesthetically fit on an infill lot in an old well-established neighborhood in Bellingham. The Craftsman exterior detailing, Scandinavian exterior color palette, and timber details help it blend into the older neighborhood. At the same time the clean modern interior allowed their artistic details and displayed artwork take center stage. We started working with the owners and the design team in the later stages of design, sharing our expertise with high-performance building strategies, custom timber details, and construction cost planning. Our team then seamlessly rolled into the construction phase of the project, working with the owners and Michelle, the interior designer until the home was complete. The owners can hardly believe the way it all came together to create a bright, comfortable, and friendly space that highlights their applied details and favorite pieces of art. This project is in the final stages. The basement is finished with a den, bedroom, full bathroom and spacious laundry room. New living spaces have been created upstairs. The kitchen has come alive with white cabinets, new countertops, a farm sink and a brick backsplash. The mudroom was incorporated at the garage entrance with a storage bench and beadboard accents. Industrial and vintage lighting, a barn door, a mantle with restored wood and metal cabinet inlays all add to the charm of the farm house remodel. DREAM. BUILD. LIVE. www.smartconstructionhomes.com
