Need For Build did an outstanding job modifying the side yard of our house. The job included clearing large sections of dirt, building a 3' by 50' retaining wall, and installing pavers. The cost estimate came in thousands less than the others I received for the same work. They started on schedule and had a time estimate of 2 to 3 weeks, but they actually finished in only 8 working days. They were very flexible and made changes to the plan at my request as the job proceeded. The work crews were all very polite and helpful; they cleaned up each day and left the final site looking excellent. Another good point is that David was both the salesperson and the project manager so he showed up every day to make sure the progress matched my expectations - I've had other company's sales people disappear once the sale has been made, but not David!

Paula Truchon of Reico Kitchen and Bath in Frederick, MD designed a primary bathroom featuring Ultracraft Cabinetry’s Plantation door style with 5-piece drawer front in Red Birch with a Natural Low Sheen finish.
Selections for bathroom include MSI Q Calacatta Valentin with Polished finish vanity countertops, Jeffery Alexander hardware, Kohler sink, Moen faucet and Kichler lighting.
The client expressed their immense satisfaction. “From the initial planning stage, Paula's insights on cabinetry, lighting, and overall design resonated perfectly with my taste in furnishings. Walking through my home to the bathroom, she was able to pick up my style. The project was painless. Everything was well orchestrated and the pieces just fell into place. The crew in charge of demo and installation worked quickly and fastidiously, protecting floors and leaving the site clean and neat each day. Scott's consistent oversight and collaboration with Paula made the project progress smoothly. Despite my initial concerns of a prolonged demo and tedious installation, Reico's team delivered a quick and flawless job.”
Added the client, “This space is truly gorgeous and has exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasure to deal with Reico and their team. Paula, Lisa, Scott and all the technicians charged with demo and installation. Thank you for allowing me to share this beautiful bathroom!”

Phoenix's food scene is vibrant and thriving, but also one of the most closely watched in the country. Health inspectors in Maricopa County are strict, and customers expect spotless dining spaces.
To stay competitive, restaurant owners and food vendors must stay on top of evolving health codes, sanitation protocols, and food safety benchmarks. That starts with a firm grip on restaurant cleaning safety standards. Ignoring sanitation rules risks more than bad reviews. It invites citations, customer complaints, and operational shutdowns.
Whether you're operating a food truck or a restaurant, following these Phoenix cleaning standards helps you stay compliant, pass health inspections, and build customer trust.
Importance of a Clean Phoenix Restaurant that Follows Food Health and Safety Standards
The restaurant industry in Phoenix operates under strict oversight. The Maricopa County Environmental Services Department conducts regular inspections, and violations can result in fines or closures. In this climate, restaurant cleaning is not just a hygiene standard. It is a business-critical measure.
Proper food handling and establishment cleaning protocols reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses, control pests, protect equipment, and keep your staff safe. Inconsistent practices, on the other hand, can quickly become liabilities.
Start With the Food Code
Phoenix food vendors must comply with the 2017 FDA Food Code as adopted by Maricopa County. This includes rules on:
- Sanitizing food-contact surfaces after each use
- Maintaining proper water temperatures for dishwashing
- Cleaning restrooms frequently and keeping them stocked
- Storing cleaning chemicals away from prep areas
- Daily: Wipe prep tables, mop floors, clean grills, sanitize cutting boards
- Weekly: Deep clean kitchen hoods, polish cooking equipment, disinfect drains
- Monthly: Check pest control measures, clean freezer coils, and inspect HVAC filters
- Using the right sanitizers and PPE
- Logging cleaning times and who performed the task
- Identifying signs of mold, grease buildup, or rodent activity
- Conducting thorough surface cleaning to ensure all food-contact surfaces are sanitized regularly
- Food-safe and non-corrosive
- Effective against norovirus, salmonella, and E. coli
- Clearly labeled and stored in original containers
- Seal gaps around doors and pipes
- Store dry goods in sealed, elevated containers
- Keep outdoor waste bins locked and distanced from entry points
- Record cleaning completion in real time
- Alert managers when tasks are missed
- Keep a historical record for inspections
- Is certified and understands the Arizona food codes
- Provides documented service reports
- Offers customized cleaning plans
- Offers flexible scheduling around your operating hours
- Cross-contamination prevention: Regularly clean food prep surfaces and tools, and use separate equipment for raw meats, vegetables, and ready-to-eat foods. Proper cleaning prevents any contact with food that could lead to cross-contamination and affects food quality.
- Temperature monitoring: While not directly related to cleaning, maintaining proper food temperature is essential. Hot foods should be stored above 140°F, and cold foods below 40°F. Regularly monitor temperatures and clean temperature gauges to ensure accuracy.
- Proper storage: Use clean storage containers and shelving for food storage, keeping items off the floor. Ensure all food is sealed and labeled to avoid contamination risks and comply with food safety standards.

Western Outdoor Design, Landscape Design Process
Our design process begins with an initial consultation to understand and review your style and vision for your outdoor living space. We also work with you to understand how you plan to use the space and the desired feel you would like to achieve. Once these factors are identified, we examine your homes existing architecture to ensure continuity and flow to your new outdoor living space. Taking into consideration locations, views, site conditions and accessibility, we design your outdoor living space to flow from inside your home, out. We can establish a budget to build your project prior to the design phase.
Upon completion of the consultation, our design teams of license landscape architects and landscape designers will translate the vision into conceptual drawings and renderings. A visual presentation will also be prepared to convey the look and feel of the proposed project. Our goal is to come up with a design that is within your budget and surpasses your expectations.

We began renovating this 1980s Spanish revival style home late last year.
The home, which is built on the site of a former barn, saw a full construction team back at the property to check on the installation of sheetrock, fiber-cement panels for the garage and a wood accented transition from the garage/mudroom addition to the renovated new main entrance.
All plumbing and electrical work has been roughed-in and inspected, and the new energy efficient heating and cooling system is in place.
We are expecting the renovation project to be completed Summer 2020.

Deep black, cool exposed concrete and warm natural wood. The clear design language of this residential property in the middle of Welzheim Forest, southern Ger- many, is compelling. With its striking façade, the sculptural character of the building is a sign of what is to be expected inside.

In 1989 Medallion Homes hired Ron to design the first of two communities he would design for them. This model was one of the most successful sellers. The first subdivision Ron designed for Medallion was the first homes built in the then brand new Kierland area of North Scottsdale/ Phoenix. The designs were so well received that they sold too fast. The entire first phase of over 120 sites sold out in three days. The builder had anticipated this phase to take two years to sell out. The second phase was opened and it sold out in less than two weeks. A project the builder expected to take at least five years was completed in just under 24 months.

The Branch residence is a private home located on Bassi Ranch, designed for Clifford and Lynette Branch. The California Coastal design incorporated stucco, stone, and steel. Soaring volumes and intricate detailing merge the talents of the architect, Steven Puglisi, with the owner’s desire for a timeless design that effortlessly nestles into the landscape.
“The Bassi Ranch development consists of 24 residences located within a 220 acre parcel in Avila Valley, approximately six miles from San Luis Obispo. As the original developer of the project in the mid 1990s, my wife and I desired to have our own residence constructed on one of the parcels. The site we selected in Bassi Ranch had a wonderful view but the designated building envelope was steep and it appeared that there was very little “usable” land. I had previously worked with Mr. Puglisi on commercial projects, and again turned to Mr. Puglisi for our residential design work, as I had long-admired other residences that his firm had created. What impressed me most was that Steve and his staff listened carefully to our personal ideas and came back with a design that surpassed our expectations. Suffice to say, we are very happy campers.” - Cliff Branch

"We are writing this letter to once again thank you for everything you did in building our new house at Duxbury Beach. Many people we know had horror stories about working with contractors, we honestly felt like we did not have any problems. Working with you was more like having friends building our dream home.new home construction, beach construction, beach home
We assumed that living out of state during a construction project as large as this one would cause many problems. Both Tripp and Peter kept us up to date with job site photos and a detailed calendar of decisions we needed to make. Even after we added a couple of minor items to the project we came in under budget, and through up-to-date invoicing we knew every penny we paid was accounted for. The jobsite was so clean that one of the neighbors who spoke out against the project to the original planning board meeting asked us for your contact information at the end of the project.
We love showing our home. Tripp and team met our goals and exceeded our expectations for this project. We have had several compliments on the craftsmanship and details in the home. Someone even asked if this was the builder’s show home. Any time you would like to take someone through the house we would be proud to show them our retirement dream home….."

Rear elevation | The original home had many of the features that you would expect from the 1950's: expert craftsmanship, beautiful hardwood floors, and understated charm; but also a small secluded kitchen, small windows, and small closets. The renovated home features a master bedroom addition with windows designed to capture the views of the stunning site, a master bathroom with a lofted ceiling, walk-in shower and soaking tub, a new kitchen addition, and a 2nd floor bedroom expansion. The redesign also provided clarity to the entry sequence.

Keeping client walkways and drives cleared and safe for passage is a priority for us during winter months. We keep a close eye on weather conditions to effectively service each site, and take pride in maintaining good communication so clients know what to expect.
