Alcove shower - rustic ceramic tile and beige floor alcove shower idea in Seattle with an undermount sink, raised-panel cabinets, medium tone wood cabinets, a one-piece toilet and beige walls

This four bedroom beach house in Washington's South Sound is all about growing up near the water's edge during summer's freedom from school. The owner's childhood was spent in a small cabin on this site with her parents and siblings. Now married and with children of her own, it was time to savor those childhood memories and create new ones in a house designed for generations to come.
At 3,200 square feet, including a whimsical Crow's Nest, the new summer cabin is much larger than the original cabin. The home is still about family and fun though. Above the 600 square foot water toys filled garage, there is a 500 square foot bunk room for friends and family. The bunk room is connected to the main house by an upper bridge where built-in storage frames a window seat overlooking the property.
Throughout the home are playful details drawing from the waterfront locale. Paddles are integrated into the stair railing, engineered flooring with a weathered look, marine cleats as hardware, a boardwalk to the main entry, and nautical lighting are found throughout the house.

The fishing pond at this project’s home ranch is down a steep slope, some distance from the main compound. To providing shelter from fast-moving storms, a lunch spot, or just a great place for a nap, the owners asked us to design a small fishing cabin. To ensure it blended in to its environment as much as possible, we chose indigenous materials—such as boulders displaced by mining and local reclaimed timbers—to help solidify the connection between the structure and the site. A sod roof seeded with native grasses and resident wildflowers further connects this structure to its surroundings.
Now the fishing cabin is the favorite place for teaching the grandkids how to fish, or for a summer afternoon swim, or simply for reading a good book in front of the crackling fireplace.

This charming rustic mudroom features a built in bench with wall hooks, storage cabinetry, and a bold red door leading outside, all set against slate tile flooring. Reclaimed Wood Paneling covers the accent wall, Reclaimed Wood Cabinetry provides built in storage, and Reclaimed Wood Timbers frame the coffered ceiling above, bringing natural texture and warmth into this practical, cozy entryway.
Every piece of reclaimed wood at Manomin Resawn Timbers is salvaged from 19th and early 20th century barns, factories, and warehouses, structures built during the Industrial Revolution from old growth hardwoods that grew slower and denser than the trees available today. Through our detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, that history is preserved and prepared for a new life in modern homes.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a space like this one, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood paneling, custom cabinetry, and timbers to fit your vision. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood.

Weathered Antique Paneling from Manomin Resawn Timbers covers the walls, ceiling, and flooring of this rustic cabin bunk room, showing off a naturally aged patina with unique sawn faces and a darker, moodier aesthetic. The paneling wraps the entire space in warmth and texture, framing a built-in bunk bed nook and stone-accented windows for a cozy, cabin-inspired feel.
Our Weathered Antique Paneling is sourced directly from 19th or early 20th century barns. As farmers moved from hand hewing logs to circle saw milling, a surplus of timbers became the literal building blocks of the second industrial revolution. After over a hundred years, these timbers still carry their unique sawn faces and naturally aged patina, giving this paneling a look that can't be replicated. Through denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, we prepare each board for a prominent place in a home like this one.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner shopping for paneling, ceiling wood, or flooring with real depth and history, Manomin Resawn Timbers has stunning reclaimed wood to suit your needs. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood.

Weathered Antique Flooring and Paneling bring warm honey and reddish brown tones into this rustic cabin kitchen, layering reclaimed wood across the floor, ceiling, and walls around a large island with bar seating. Each element carries the same natural patina that only comes from decades of aging, tying the whole space together.
Sourced directly from a 19th or early 20th century barn, this Weathered Antique wood retains its unique sawn faces and naturally aged character even after more than a hundred years. At Manomin Resawn Timbers, every plank and panel goes through a detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, preserving that antique charm while preparing the wood for a beautiful, functional place in a modern home.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, or a homeowner looking to bring reclaimed wood flooring or paneling into a kitchen or any living space, Manomin Resawn Timbers has been helping people discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood since 2002. Adding character doesn't have to break the bank. We worked with the client to create a rustic cabinet finish which is just as artsy as he is. This client has great taste and he found cool stools and commissioned a bench made by an artist to blend in with the rest of the house. The artist also installed plumbing pipe as a footrail. The eclectic nature of the furnishings really compliments the custom cabinetry.
We really like the juxtaposition of industrial and rustic elements we used for this client. The modern lines of the glass and stainless hood and the white laminate cabinetry are clean and minimal while the textural island and uppers above the sink create a rustic look. All in all- a unique look for this art-filled home.
