Remodeling a 17 year old vacation home to go with the up-North feel that the rest of the home was becoming, the powder bath needed a make-over as well. The new rustic cherry wood vanity cabinet was on legs with a shelf under the door to hold towels, Cambria counter top, tile on the walls to 48”ht with carved slate tile of deer, bears, loons, etc... wrapped the room. The pine wood floor is not only in the powder room, but the entire first level of the home.

This is one of our latest designs: a leather media console! It would also serve perfectly as a rustic credenza, sideboard or buffet and would look amazing in any eclectic interior or rustic cabin setting. This rustic media console is handmade with rawhide by us here in our shop located in Texas. It can be made in any size or configuration, but the one in this listing is for one that is 18” deep and 27” high (see listing options for common widths. One shown is 72” wide). Please email for pricing on any custom sizes. As you can see, it has four doors that are leather (authentic leather), but we can make it with any number of doors. Or, we can make it with mesh doors (like you see on many of our other media consoles) so remote control infrared signals can pass through. The top, sides, and doors are also real leather but can be made with reclaimed wood. Or, for a more industrial look, we can add decorative rivets as you see on many of our other items. There is one inner shelf that spans the entire width of the unit. There are no inner partitions, so wide AV components can easily fit inside. There is a back with a 2” gap at the bottom for cables to exit. We can make the legs any height you’d like. So, if you want a more “chunky” looking unit, we can make it with shorter legs. Or, prefer a visually “lighter” looking unit? We can make it with taller legs. We can also all solid steel wheels to give it a bar cart height. Another popular configuration for this particular piece is to make it with a brown frame as opposed to the black one shown. We can also make your unit in either of the 3 types of leather shown Select “tan”, “brown-white”, or “suede.” Model: The Goodnight (named after the famous American west cattle rancher, Charlie Goodnight). This four bedroom beach house in Washington's South Sound is all about growing up near the water's edge during summer's freedom from school. The owner's childhood was spent in a small cabin on this site with her parents and siblings. Now married and with children of her own, it was time to savor those childhood memories and create new ones in a house designed for generations to come. At 3,200 square feet, including a whimsical Crow's Nest, the new summer cabin is much larger than the original cabin. The home is still about family and fun though. Above the 600 square foot water toys filled garage, there is a 500 square foot bunk room for friends and family. The bunk room is connected to the main house by an upper bridge where built-in storage frames a window seat overlooking the property. Throughout the home are playful details drawing from the waterfront locale. Paddles are integrated into the stair railing, engineered flooring with a weathered look, marine cleats as hardware, a boardwalk to the main entry, and nautical lighting are found throughout the house. Designed by BC&J Architecture.

Rustic Modern stone house. House is one room. This 120 year old one room stone cabin features real rock walls and fireplace in a simple rectangle with real handscraped exposed beams. Old concrete floor, from who knows when? The stainless steel kitchen is new, everything is under counter, there are no upper cabinets at all. Antique butcher block sits on stainless steel cabinet, and an old tire chain found on the old farm is the hanger for the cooking utensils. Concrete counters and sink. Designed by Maraya Interior Design for their best friend, Paul Hendershot, landscape designer. From their beautiful resort town of Ojai, they serve clients in Montecito, Hope Ranch, Malibu, Westlake and Calabasas, across the tri-county areas of Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles, south to Hidden Hills- north through Solvang and more.

Clients renovating their primary residence first wanted to create an inviting guest house they could call home during their renovation. Traditional in it's original construction, this project called for a rethink of lighting (both through the addition of windows to add natural light) as well as modern fixtures to create a blended transitional feel. We used bright colors in the kitchen to create a big impact in a small space. All told, the result is cozy, inviting and full of charm.
