Inspiration for a bedroom and large transitional girl light wood floor kids' bedroom remodel in New York with white walls

We built 24" deep boxes to really showcase the beauty of this walk-in closet. Taller hanging was installed for longer jackets and dusters, and short hanging for scarves. Custom-designed jewelry trays were added. Valet rods were mounted to help organize outfits and simplify packing for trips. A pair of antique benches makes the space inviting.

Our clients on this project were inspired by their travels to Asia and wanted to mimic this aesthetic at their DC property. We designed a water feature that effectively masks adjacent traffic noise and maintains a small footprint.

This Newburyport, MA basement renovation features a comfortable lounge and seating area designed for everyday living and relaxation. A sectional sofa and upholstered seating create a cozy gathering space, complemented by soft carpeting and warm, neutral wall tones. Recessed lighting and a small window provide balanced illumination, while the clean layout maximizes usability. The result is a welcoming lower-level living area that functions as an extension of the home’s main living space.
