The uneven back yard was graded into ¬upper and lower levels with an industrial style, concrete wall. Linear pavers lead the garden stroller from place to place alongside a rain garden filled with swaying grasses that spans the side yard and culminates at a gracefully arching pomegranate tree, A bubbling boulder water feature murmurs soothing sounds. A large steel and willow-roof pergola creates a shady space to dine in and chaise lounges and chairs bask in the surrounding shade. The transformation was completed with a bold and biodiverse selection of low water, climate appropriate plants that make the space come alive. branches laden with impossibly red blossoms and fruit.

An under used whirlpool tub and inefficient layout were rectified by removing the tub and outdated glass block shower to create a generous walk-in shower area and dual vanity with built ins for storage. Woods and textured materials add warmth and sophistication to the space.

The kitchen in this custom home by H2D Architecture + Design blends refined detailing with everyday functionality. A large central island anchors the space, offering generous room for meal preparation, casual dining, and gathering. White stainless appliances provide a sleek, contemporary touch, complemented by a built-in, panel-ready refrigerator that maintains the kitchen’s seamless aesthetic. The hood, wrapped in matching cabinetry material, creates a cohesive focal point while subtle detailing in the pendants above the island adds warmth and visual interest. Full renovation for this Primary Bathroom. Re-worked the floor plan to create a larger walk-in shower space with custom glass enclosure. Designed a custom wooden vanity with plenty of storage, with a subtly veined quartz countertop. Free standing bathtub is surrounded by a half wall of paneling, painted in a light and bright color scheme. Neutral tile installed on bathroom floor and shower walls, with a coordinating penny tile on the shower floor and niches. Textured bamboo roman shades and floating shelves were installed for contrast and mixed and matched black and gold hardware for detail.

A new window adds natural light to the Kitchen, making it feel lighter and brighter, and provides a view to the outside from the sink. The valance above the sink provides targeted task lighting at the sink.

Inspiration for a transitional kitchen remodel in New York

LiLu transformed this Mississippi River primary bath by removing faux finishes, faux columns, and 1980s complexity to refocus the room on sky, water, and wellness. Periwinkle walls, a sculptural freestanding tub, full-height windows, a custom reeded blue vanity with brass hardware and dressing area, a white-gray-gold tile inset, capsule sconces, and herringbone marble create a refined, intentional retreat.

New custom cabinetry delivers abundant hidden storage, keeping everyday essentials beautifully organized, while a dedicated laundry sink with a natural stone backsplash brings both function and a touch of luxury. Thoughtful details like pull-out drying racks make daily tasks effortless.
