Recently finished our remodel, and I’m absolutely in love with my new kitchen, thanks to Jessi and her team! After doing some research and gathering ideas on what I wanted, I knew my first step was to hire an interior designer. I wanted every detail done right and professionally. After reading hundreds of reviews and looking through dozens of portfolios, I decided to call Blythe Interiors, and I’m so glad I did. Jessi took my vision and brought it to life. I wanted a modern Spanish-style kitchen that had texture and color, and she absolutely nailed it. The design process took a couple of months to finalize, as I requested quite a few changes. But here’s a little tip: the final rendering ended up looking very similar to her very first design. So trust her, she really knows what she’s doing! We also hired Roberto, a contractor Jessi recommended; and again, I couldn’t be happier. Professional, humble, honest, and incredibly hardworking. Jessi and Roberto really are the Dream Team. This was my first experience working with a designer, and I will never do any remodel without one. This is the way to go! So many details and ideas I would have never thought of. Was the process perfect and seamless? No, it wasn’t. Did the end result exceed my expectations? Yes, it did! 100%! Jessi and her team did an amazing job and made sure I was completely happy. They genuinely take pride in their work, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. Their showroom is also the cutest…so aesthetic and full of inspo and ideas. If you go, make sure to ask for Jessi! She’s the one!

Being our first renovation ever, we had no idea where to start. After a quick local search and reading some reviews I came across Blythe Interior, and WOW! From the very first consultation we knew we were in the best hands. We were matched with designer Lynn, who took us under her wing and guided us through the whole process. She listened to every crazy idea we had, helped us narrow in on design, and made sure to work with out budget. What stood out the most to us was communication. Lynn was so organized made sure to communicate any changes or updates that came down the line. While I was naturally stressed (renos are kind of a big deal), Lynn kept reassuring us and we knew we were in the best hands. She paired us with one of their contractors who also ended up being incredible and we were able to get everything done on our tight timeline. To add to the complexity of a renovation, I was pregnant and our son ended up being born a month early, right as everything wrapped up. The team was SO helpful in completing a final walkthrough while we were in the hospital, coordinating final touches, and making sure we were good to go before moving back into our house. Lynn's designs and furniture renderings were spot on with what we were looking for. It's amazing how she was able to take our very loose ideas and capture our true style. We love how our house turned out and we hope to use Blythe Interiors again with our future projects!!

We worked with Janice Tran on our craftsman kitchen and bathroom remodel and have been loving the space since it's completion! Calling Blythe Interiors turned out to be a great decision. I'm working on a very small, DIY kitchen remodel and realized I may be in over my head. I needed a professional with kitchen design and space-planning experience as well as one with creative interior design expertise. Jessi came out to my home and was convivial and a great listener. She made practical and thoughtful suggestions and gave alternatives to items I was ready to splurge on that would've had a not-so-impactful result. I now feel confident in my design choices and have finally decided on a color direction for pricy appliances. I appreciate Jessi's input and will definitely consider using Jessi and Blythe for future projects or just when I really need to make a pivotal choice. The two-hour consultation was perfect for my needs and the cost was worth every penny. Don't let their IG feed sway you into thinking that Blythe represents a specific design style. I consider my design aesthetic to be Maximalist, Olde World style with a hint of irreverence and Jessi "got it" straight away. Thank you all at Blythe for servicing smaller clients and jobs!

Poor value. Level of attention and detail also disappointing. A simple re-do of my daughters bedroom took months and was never completed with the items we selected. I had to constantly stay on top of things with them only to be told they were busy or attending to personal affairs and my messages were lost. Being a busy single dad I relied on Blythe interiors only to be let down. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We are so sorry that you were unhappy with the timing of this project. When we did our initial consultation in February, everything was selected on the spot for your daughter's room and she was so happy with the design!

Instead of purchasing everything at that time, you elected to put the project on hold until 3 months later in May. By then, unfortunately most of the items we had originally selected were backordered, including the desk selection. We're so sorry that even the 2nd desk that we reselected to had substantial vendor delays. Due to COVID shutdowns, many vendors became severely backordered, which was completely out of our control. We totally understand your frustration and we were frustrated too! We worked with our vendor regularly to see what was going on and tried so hard to get it resolved!

We then began the process of selecting a new desk, putting in several additional free hours to reselect and sending 15+ alternate options for the desk, but she understandably had her heart set on something closer to the original. When a new desk was finally selected and ordered, we passed along our designer discount and refunded you the balance from the previous desk.

We honestly did everything within our power to make you happy throughout this process, and we are truly sorry that our efforts were not successful. We want all our our clients to be happy with us and truly take our reviews to heart. We wish you and your family the best and to remain safe during these unpredictable times.

I had been so confused on what to do with my house for years and then Jessi walked in and nailed it! We were going through a remodel of our master bedroom, bathrooms, and living room. We also wanted to update our kid's bedrooms. I wanted a model looking home, but had no idea how to do it. I really needed help with everything-- choosing paint colors, curtains, furniture, and decorating. Jessi from Blythe Interiors was amazing. She is so creative and talented. I have worked with Blythe Interiors on several homes that we have owned and have loved the outcome on both. I am hesitant to trust my own sense of style (or my husbands) and have spent unnecessary dollars on fixing our design mistakes. This is where Blythe Interiors have stepped in and have made our house a home. I schedule a few hours with one of the designers whenever I want to rearrange, paint, brainstorm ideas, consider remodeling, etc...it is time and money very well spent. I have worked with both Jen or Jessi on 5 occasions in the past 5 years and the outcome of our home always fits out style, wows us and our family and friends, and can all be done to fit our budget. I will have Jessi back within the next year for a few hours when we are ready to paint, to go over finding the perfect shade of color for both the interior and exterior of our home. I cannot wait! I highly recommend Blythe Interiors. I have a beautifully designed interior that suits us and doesn't break the bank.

Through their platform I was able to gain valuable design advice on the spot. When we planned to renovate our kitchen, I knew I wanted to find a good designer to help me think through the project. Through a lot of internet searching and stalking, I found Blythe and Lynn. I was so glad to connect with a design firm that was focused on being affordable and down to earth, with a menu of choices from just idea-generating to full on project management. Lynn was quickly able to identify our family's needs and obstacles and help us think up ideas that would solve for them. She took the time to understand our patterns and needs and added both beauty and practicality to our project. She definitely thought of things I would not have on my own and helped me work through the decision fatigue that comes with any remodel. I’m new to San Diego and was looking for a professional , stylish and reasonably priced full service decoration service including design , purchasing and full instillation for a 2 bedroom condo in little Italy. From the first interaction on the phone for setting up consultation to completion payment and final product Blythe interiors has been a completely capable , professional as well as friendly service provider. The design options were amazing and every need I had was met! I simply needed to open the door and walk into a world class done condo. I hired Jen to design our first floor. The process was stressful from start to finish. We experienced several setbacks that delayed our project approximately 2+ months. During our project, Jen had a family matter that she had to tend to, she was due to have a baby, she was in the middle of a residential move, she was working on business changes (expanding offices and staff, etc.) In addition, Jen's painter was unlicensed so I had to interview other painters that delayed the process even further. I felt constant pressure to get the project completed timely because Jen was due to leave for maternity leave. I felt Jen was not 100% committed to our project because she had too many things going on personally which she admitted. At one point, Jen wanted to hand me off to a designer she had just hired due to all of the reasons mentioned above. Clearly, I was not happy about it because I entered into a contract with Jen, not another designer. We were very understanding, helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. We always treated Jen with the utmost respect regardless of the situation. We generously tipped her vendors, gave gift cards to her staff and even sent Jen a baby gift. We also bought lunch for her whole crew on install day, which we did not have to do! We were great clients. Jen has very high-end clients; my job was small compared to others. All clients should be treated equally regardless of job size or total cost of his or her project. Lastly, I find Blythe's billing to be questionable. I do not believe providing receipts to clients is a standard at Blythe. However, I did request to see my receipts because I wanted to confirm that I was paying for "actual", not "projected" costs for services and goods. Tiffany in billing was very pleasant to work with. Thank you, Tiffany. My receipts revealed a few discrepancies including a $1K+ discrepancy in their favor. It was resolved. I would not have known had I not requested the receipts. I also found that the person who shopped for my goods at World Market purchased a soft drink on my tab. I paid it. It is not a big deal but it is the principle. On a positive note, our project was finally completed. On to Phase 2! I look forward to working with a different company and designer because Blythe has proven to be a bad fit for me. A client's needs should be a priority, they should feel valued and respected, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. Clients keep businesses in business.

"It has always been my dream to hire an Interior Designer but knew the reality of it was I probably couldn't afford one. I said to myself, keep dreaming. :-) However, while searching on the internet, I found Blythe Interiors and read that they offered affordable interior design services so I took the leap! Jen came out for an initial consultation and I immediately felt a connection and knew she would be able to help! She was so friendly and sweet and had just an overall positive vibe and presence. I wanted a makeover for my 1st floor only. I was feeling embarrassed having visitors over because my home was so outdated with the 80's oak cabinets and dark dated cheap furniture. I just couldn't take it anymore so I hired Jen and it was the best decision of my life!! Jen is a creative genius, that is all I can say!! She'll work with any budget. I went furniture shopping with Jen once and that is all I needed. I left the rest up to her because that is how much I trusted her! And, I highly recommend you let Jen do her thing. You won't be sorry you did and this is the reason why we creatively challenged people hired her in the first place, right?! Jen also selected wall colors and knows the latest color trends. I would have never imagined going with a black kitchen island or staircase railing as she suggested but I trusted her and WOW! We just completed our install this week. I felt like I was in a dream! Really, this is my house?! I am still trying to get over the initial shock and just cried like a baby because I am so happy with the results! My home looks absolutely gorgeous. I've had two visitors over since and got exactly the response I was looking for and that was a huge WOW!! Jen worked closely with Jodi and Jodi is amazing too! She is a sweetheart! I look forward to hiring Jen again for our second floor! Jen and Jodi, you're the best and it was a pleasure working with you! I miss you ladies already but my home will be a constant reminder of you awesome ladies! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!"

Jen has been helping me with various projects in my home for nearly 4 years now and she is amazing! She has helped me design 3 nurseries, including one for twins. My goal was to create magical spaces for my babies and Jen did just that. I would have a vision I wanted to create and Jen made it come to life. She also selected all paint colors, wall paper and flooring for my entire home. She helped to liven up my living spaces using furniture we already had. Jen is amazing at working with any budget and never pushed me to spend more than I felt comfortable with. Even with a modest budget on some of my projects, Jen was able to produce the rich feel I wanted. She also helped me to transition my nurseries to big girl rooms when my babies were ready. I don't make any large furniture or material purchases without first consulting with Jen as she has a keen eye and knows what will produce the look I'm trying to achieve.
