Inspiration for a transitional laundry room remodel in Dallas

This spectacular barn home features custom cabinetry in the kitchen, office, four bathrooms including the master and the laundry room. This modern kitchen update was a dream to work on. Every detail down to the lighting included inside the cabinets and drawers was well thought out executed by our team of designers, architects and builders. We are proud of the end result and more importantly our home owners are ecstatic and can't wait to spend every moment possible in their new mid century modern inspired kitchen.

This expansive property has enough room for the entire family to run around, and since they had SYNLawn artificial grass installed, they won't have to worry about spending money watering or maintaining their lawn. This creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. We also created a set of concrete retaining walls on the south side of the yard. These walls help to raise and extend the available outdoor living space, allowing for more activities in this space than ever before. The durable construction of these walls will ensure that they remain strong and resilient for years to come. Overall, the combination of Ipe decking and concrete retaining walls has given this outdoor space a completely new look and feel. It is now an inviting area in which to practice yoga, entertain guests, or just spend time with family and friends.
