Bathroom - contemporary master bathroom idea in Miami with flat-panel cabinets, blue cabinets and an integrated sink

This modern home theater recalls classic movie houses with the duo-tone color scheme and lighting, with custom upholstered theater style seating, high definition projection and intelligent control panel it's the perfect setting for watching a film, or two!

Continuing through the home, a cobalt blue pop in the dining room brings the color scheme to fruition. We love the accent fabric on the chair backs that brings a touch of modern mixed with traditional into the space.

This beautiful study was part of a whole house design and renovation by Haven Design and Construction. For this room, our objective was to create a feminine and sophisticated study for our client. She requested a design that was unique and fresh, but still warm and inviting. We wallpapered the back of the bookcases in an eye catching metallic vine pattern to add a feminine touch. Then, we selected a deep gray tone from the wallpaper and painted the bookcases and wainscoting in this striking color. We replaced the carpet with a light wood flooring that compliments the gray woodwork. Our client preferred a petite desk, just large enough for paying bills or working on her laptop, so our first furniture selection was a lovely black desk with feminine curved detailing and delicate star hardware. The room still needed a focal point, so we selected a striking lucite and gold chandelier to set the tone. The design was completed by a pair of gray velvet guest chairs. The gold twig pattern on the back of the chairs compliments the metallic wallpaper pattern perfectly. Finally the room was carefully detailed with unique accessories and custom bound books to fill the bookcases.

I was hired to update this condo, working around the existing countertops as they were something the owner didn't want to replace. I selected a paint color for the cabinetry, feeling like the cherry cabinets just didn't fit in this space, nor did they seem to be the right compliment to the existing granite. I hired Haven Finishing Studio to work their magic and transform the cabinets into what looks like a brand new kitchen! They did beautiful work!!! Removed the outdated backsplash and replaced it with a metallic back painted glass subway tile. Removed track lighting in the kitchen and living room and replaced with vintage industrial modern lighting. "If Bryan were to do a house and I were to do a house, they would likely come out different." Gutted and completely redesigned, the bathroom is a perfect compromise between Bryan and Catherine's seemingly opposite design preferences. "I would say my style is more eclectic," Catherine explains. "I like curvy lines whereas Bryan likes things straight and sleek and clean." By keeping the color scheme consistent throughout the space, the elements work together seamlessly. Plain square tiles exude a vintage vibe when offset into a subway pattern and set against dark grout, while stainless penny tiles and open storage lend an industrial quality to the room. The addition of a chandelier and flowy shower curtains soften the space, exemplifying the definition of their style.

The beds can be pushed together and the bedside table moved to the outside for visiting couples or moved apart for singles.The feel is textural and coastal in a comfortable, modern way.

This house had a graphic makeover to help the Realtor show the true potential of this house to prospective buyers. Wood siding, windows, and shutters help create curb appeal. The roof was reduced on the front addition making it look less obtrusive. Landscaping tops it off. Not tacky specimen plants or the usual landscaped plantings but simple elegant plants to help play off the architecture, not attract attention. The image was created graphically so the new homeowner can see the result and be sure what they want. They can give this to their builder to use as a guide to be sure they GET what they want.
